"We loved this hotel, it was a 9 minute walk from the main train station (and the 840 bus that runs to the Salt Mine, Berchtesgaden and the Konigsee boat excursions). It is also right down the street from Mirabell Palace and all the excursions that run from there. The room was super quiet on the back side of the hotel and it was spacious. Double sinks in the bathroom and a separate WC. We didn't eat at the roof deck restaurant, but had drinks up there admiring the view over the city. Also loved...

"Nice hotel with helpful staff. My only complaint is that I was in a room facing the street. A festival, think Oktoberfest type, was ongoing just at the end of the street. The street noise was very loud as lots of people were walking to the festival, as well as cars driving by. This lasted until late at night. Our first hostel experience was good, staff were great - really friendly and helpful, breakfast was fine, the place was clean and bright with a real diverse mix of ages of guest ( we are 50s).
