"We had a fabulous time away in this gorgeous house in beautiful Staithes. Big enough for two families with Kids and dogs. Perfect stroll to the beach, nearby walks and lovely pubs!"
"Cameron and his wife have created a lovely, bespoke place to stay in Staithes. Our room was spotless and the bed was really comfy. Perfect cooked breakfast from Cameron. We would love to return. A decent hill to negotiate down to the quay and the rooms but worth the effort."
"Nice overnight stay with my partner. Room spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. A little soft for my liking but I did sleep well. Was very thankful for the fan and I’m used to sleeping with one at home.
Delicious food…the steak and ale pie was amazing!
Thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast before the long drive home.
Would definitely recommend the Captain cook Inn and we would be more than happy to stay again. "
"This Hotel could do with a serious upgrade.
We would not have stayed longer in the room we had if it had been for more than one night.

We did find the room to be a bit stuffy as the only ventilation was possible of we kept the french door on the latch, which was perfect during the day but perhaps a little unsafe at night. We used the air conditioninh unit to circulate air in the room which was...

"Lovely stay as always. Room is a good size, clean, comfortable and plenty of tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the local kippers. Food in the evening was lovely and chips best we've tasted and a good atmosphere in the bar in the evening.
Handy for so many beautiful places in the area both coastal and inland and of course the gorgeous Staithes where the accommodation is situated which has amazing walks."
