"We decided stay at The Ranch because it was a bit more affordable and looked beautiful. We stayed in the cottages - HIGHLY recommend this!
THE COTTAGES:
They are so cute. It looks like you're in a quaint little neighborhood lined with palm trees. They are connected by 2's, so noise may be an issue depending on the next door guest. We didn't have problems but we could hear doors opening and closing and chatter.
It is REALLY convenient to have a washer/dryer combo, but it was a little tricky to use. Right before we left, we set our clothes on another dry session. They actually ended up getting washed again and then dried - so they were wet when we got them out. So, asking for help on how to operate would be a good call!
THE FOOD:
Make sure you bring snacks, drinks, extra things before you enter the park. Stop in one of the surrounding cities if you have a cooler. Food is very basic, limited, and expensive. Understandably so, but just something to be aware of.
Everybody was super nice, things were clean, and we will definitely stay here again!"
"I chose a std. room, 1 king. The pics shown on your site show that particular selection of rooms with a doorway going outside. When arriving at our room, it didn't have that door. This should be addressed w/ hotels.com or whoever gives those pics to them. In addition to this we were never informed that the elev. from the parking lot wasn't working so you had to use a valet w/ a golf cart to go up and down the steep hill.(very inconvenient) My husband uses a walker and this was difficult. However, we did find a few parking spots close to an elev. at level 2 that would take us to the 4th floor. There were 2 disabled spots. Usually those were taken by a laundry cart and/or an orange cone blocking that spot. I informed the front desk about the problem and she said that housekeeping would be informed. Unfortunately, they never got that word. Plus, del. trucks and other repair trucks continually used those spots. I don't think the guests were kept in mind with this problem. Some of those laundry/golf cars should have been placed other places! I realize weather can't be controlled nor the flooding that damaged the elevator but during this construction time I feel other parking should have been found for those 'company vehicles' thus allowing 'PAYING guests' given priority. Who's paying your bills??The PAYING guest!! The Inn at Death Valley was not very compliant in ADA laws. Look those up! There should have been a golf cart valet always waiting down below to take u up w/o calling.

"It was a tiny house as advertised, but the use of space was clever and surprisingly comfortable. It’s definitely best suited for up to four people. The instructions for check‑in, WiFi, and the surrounding area were clear and very helpful. We also loved watching the night sky with no city lights around. Everyone slept well, and we truly appreciated the owner’s thoughtful hospitality. We even found marshmallow sticks by the fireplace, which was a fun surprise. Check‑out was just as easy and clearly explained."

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing and peaceful location, exactly as advertised. This house was spotless and we enjoyed the firepit at night. Misty was great with communication and letting us know how to prepare for the area. Unfortunately we had a very limited time at Death Valley but would love to return and stay here again. We did not get to play cornhole or horseshoes but love it was an option!"
