"If you are headed to Death Valley and won't be camping - staying inside the park. The Ranch at Death Valley is perfect situated for easy access to some of the must sees in the Park including Zabriskie Point, Badwater, Mesquite Flats and more."
"PROS: Very clean, excellent mattresses & linens, easy access to & from main highway through town, very quiet town, excellent communications with owner who is very accommodating.CONS: This is a duplex with inadequate soundproofing between units so noise from the other tenant was an issue (though not terrible). The concrete throughout the outdoor area is badly cracked & uneven making for trip & fall hazards, just be careful especially at night. The front bedroom was very cold since there is a slider (not dual paned) as a wall with the garage. Only 2 sets of bath towels for 3 adults."
"We were able to get a 2 person "glamping" tent a coupe days before our Saturday night stay. I now realize why there was plenty of availability...
The showers... oh god the smell of the showers was just so horrendous. Please look at my picture of the shower before booking a stay here. I have stayed at plenty of campsites before, and this was the worst shower situation I've experienced.
Unfortunately the night we stayed, the wind was also horrible. The entire night the tent was flapping like crazy and we got no sleep. Not the hotel's fault, but worth considering.
We also ate at the restaurant - I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. The avocado toast was great.
The location is not ideal - very far away from all the places we wanted to see in Death Valley. Not the end of the world, but expect to drive a lot if you stay here.
Honestly the shower just ruined it for me."
"Excellent stargazing and beautiful Mountain View’s. Clean efficient living space for the two of us. Low ceilings in sleeping space, crawling in and out of the beds was fun…but beds and pillows were comfortable. "
Stunning New House by Death Valley, Amazing Views!
10/10 Excellent
"This is a great place to stay for exploring Death Valley. The kitchen is a full kitchen and well stocked for cooking in. We flew into Las Vegas so we loaded up there at wal mart and Albertsons, and having the full kitchen allowed us to make our meals. The mountain view is amazing and the outdoor seating gave us great opportunity to enjoy the view. There was a jack rabbit nibbling daily and a hummingbird nesting that was fun to watch. It’s spacious and exceeded our expectations. "
Million Dollar View close to Death Valley and remote for Perfect Stargazing
10/10 Excellent
"The mountain view is outstanding as are the outdoor spaces with multiple places to relax and take it in. We enjoyed the entertaining games (foosball, Pac-Man, etc.). We also really appreciated the washer and dryer. Thank you for the great tip about arranging dinner at Martell Market. The food was delicious and Sunny was delightful! Location is ideal for access to Death Valley and fun in the desert, including Ash Meadows! We had a great stay and will return."
