"We had a lovely stay at the Old Rectory. The owners couldn't have been more helpful/professional. Countryside location is beautiful. I would definitely recommend a stay."
"Excellent old manor. We stayed in Mrs Smith's room. Which used to be the owners room. Plenty of space, large bay window overlooking the garden and old church behind the property. Clean and welcoming. Bathroom was large and clean with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in my life. A must try for any yankee visiting from the US. Eggs are much better in England than the US. Staff was quite welcoming and friendly. There are a couple of walking trails...
"The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely setting. Would definitely stay again. I was a little disappointed that there was no restaurant where I could have had an evening meal. "
"I’ve left several reviews for this hotel, the main issue I always find is the lack of staff at busier times, I spoke to one member who was in charge of the reception, bar and restaurant, this is fine if the hotel is very quiet but not so good when busy. Rooms are great though, fairly limited breakfast but enough for my needs."
"Short stay to see family in the area. Lovely couple running the facility and perfect for the family to use as a base for what was a great weekend. Very well equipped and comfortable."
