Hi Lea Marie Eggermont, Thank you very much for the glowing review. It is a shame that your review is an absolute violation of the truth. The fact being that you left the resort in the early hours of the morning without paying for your bar and restaurant bill. You even went to the extent of trying to blackmail us that if we cleared your balance you would remove this untruthful review. You did this by via Instagram when we found you. Your actions are despicable and people like you should not be allowed to stay in hotels. Reviews like yours not only effect our hotel but also local staff and tourism on a whole. You only wrote the review in attempt to not pay for the food and drinks you consumed. Shame on you. You still have not settled your account and I sincerely hope that you cease this type of behavior as I am sure the day will come when this will all catch up with you. Happy Travels Daniel

Hi Ayla Thanks for staying with us and thank you for your review. Just a couple of things to point out and it may also help you in your future endeavors to travel. The resort or hotel cannot control the network service of a country, not anywhere in the world that I am aware of. Selling SIM cards is not what we do, there are plenty of options at the airport on arrival and also when travelling around Samoa so I do not see how this could be a negative impact on our resort. Regarding the drinks, affordable?? Happy hour cocktails (full menu of cocktails not restricted) are equivalent to around NZ$13.00. That's right NZ$13.00 for a full alcohol cocktail, normal price is around NZ$16.00......again that's right NZ$16.00. I think this is more than affordable for cocktails on an absolute beach front setting. Lastly, about the pool, yes it does get cleaned every 7 days, the beauty of the pool is that it is a natural ocean water pool with absolutely no chemicals, it does not damage the ocean water or surrounding coral so therefore, I am very sorry but nature is nature and we manage the pool by cleaning it weekly, as I understand you arrived on the day before the scheduled clean, but like you said once cleaned it was amazing just like the pictures.....which by the way are in no way modified....all our photos are as taken. Thanks for the review. A full buffet breakfast is included with the room price and then we have the hot menu. Apologies we cannot accommodate your specific request. We charged $5WST for a side bowl of mayonnaise - all other sauces / dips are free. Thanks Chris - yes the road is awful and unfortunately out of our control despite many attempts to get it fixed - we are a small business and do suffer because of it but stay positive and hopefully we are getting a new road very soon. Benefits is it keeps our beach pristine and lots of people out so no over crowding here! Great spot to hideaway and relax and enjoy the rugged coastline and spectacular views across the Ocean without the feel of a ''resorty'' hotel. Thank you for the feedback as it really helps other guests. Cheers

Pick up a BLUESKY sim at the airport and buy a data package which allows fast internet connection. We are too remote for roaming and Digicel does not work on South Coast aswell. Yes we are a hidden, isolated paradise - well advertised as this on all websites. Many places in Samoa are isolated which adds to the beauty. Car hire is 100% recommended to see the beautiful island.
