"Clean room, nicevbut would have preferred a higher floor
Check in was a real bore, huge manual form, totally unnecessary when they could just have photocopied the passports like everywhere else!"

"Quick and easy check-in. Very spacious room with a very large bathroom. All staff very friendly, helpful and courteous. Large selection of food in the restaurant. 10 minute walk to the beach. Two minute walk to the local and free waterslide park. "

"We had a brilliant stay! Staff were fantastic and room was very comfy. Food was delicious - we saw some subpar reviews of the food but really don't know what more people could want, especially on a small island where everything is imported! We had a fantastic time and will be back! "

"Loved the location and closeness to the beach and shopping. Lots of restaurants to choose from but most of the time defaulted to the Oceans Cafe for the service, the entertainment, the food and the awesome staff"

"1) long queues to book any restaurant
2) too big and crowded although we had a nice room
3) breakfast poor - cold eggs and coffee dreadful
4) housekeeping dreadful - never had room towels replaced properly and cleaning sketchy
5) ATM didn’t work

"Clean, well-kept hotel with large pool, garden and beach area (across the street). This hotel is a nice place to relax compared to louder mega hotels in the resort.
Breakfast was lovely and varied. However, two suggestions from me: Please provide free bottled water daily in the room and more fresh juice options at breakfast.
I would definitely stay here again and look forward to doing so. "

"Wonderful stay for us as a couple, really high standards and staff were great. Loved the food and facilities so worth the money we paid. Room was a little basic, could have done with better products in the bathroom and the TV didn’t work great for instance, but fine in reality."
"The location, staff, the room, cleanliness, food happy hour, pools, all really amazing definitely would recommend the Morabeza hotel. However just a note for some travellers, this time of year, January to February tends to be a lot older clientele so if you’re looking forward a lovely quiet relaxing time this is perfect for you. Directly by the beach and by the strip where there are lots of really great restaurants and bars with music every evening. Overall this is a beautiful place to visit. Temperatures are just perfect and lots of outdoor water sports which are well worth the trip to have a look at the wildlife in the sea that cannot be matched. The people of Cabo Verde are extremely helpful, polite and very cool. Overall I would recommend Cabo Verde to the traveller who wants something a little bit more than a beach and pool holiday lots to do and explore."
"Yes, l must say the staff at all levels work tremendously hard to make my stay enjoyable.
Every where l went there was someone proactive from the restaurants, bars , toilets and room staff"
"We stayed at Vila Verde for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year in a huge apartment. It has a very relaxed and chilled out feel in the complex, an others mentioned parts need updating but this is being done. The staff are all polite and friendly from the security guards cheering me on my morning run to the reception staff being so helpful and the housekeeping services ensuring our room was always spotlessly clean.
It’s a short walk, hotel shuttle or a €5 taxi to the hustle and bustle of Santa Maria where there’s lots to see and do. There is also a private beach which is quiet and peaceful too.
We would definitely recommend and return here as it’s just the peaceful relaxing stay we were wanting."
Hostels are a great way to stay for a good value, so you can save your money for exploring. This destination's bars offer plenty of opportunities to treat your taste buds, and the beaches create an appealing natural setting.
