"We stayed in a ground-floor room. The laminate flooring was already swollen from the damp and smelled musty. The patio door couldn't be locked. The shower cubicle didn't have a sliding door. There were plenty of towels, and everything was clean. The beds were good, and although the air conditioning could be adjusted, it seemed to make hardly any difference. Breakfast was okay; scrambled eggs cost an extra €1. We only stayed one night (€122). The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff was friendly."

"Should not be 5 star. The food was fine, pretty much same standard AI as you normally get. The pool is huge and very lovely if you are quick enough in the morning to get a sunbed. The rooms need updating, comfy bed but old, cheap furniture not 5 star quality. We went into town 5 nights out of our 7, it takes about 15 mins to walk and we did it during the day and after dark no problem at all. Taxi option is also very easy. So much better than staying in the hotel, I wish I had gone B&B. The beach is much better near town as well as the waves are crazy near the hotel. If I went back I would not return here. "
