Toyoko Inn Omiya-eki Higashi-guchi

Toyoko Inn Omiya-eki Higashi-guchi

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I like that the price included a breakfast buffet which was pretty good. The hotel includes lockers, a coin laundry. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the station. The rooms are a little small but comfortable. I think the room included a small fridge. I would recommend the Toyoko chain of hotels, the price is reasonable especially since it includes the breakfast."

8/10 Good
"Great location next to Tsukuba station. The staff were terrific. The rooms in the original building are spacious but are showing their age. The building layout is complicated as well. The HVAC in the rooms is managed from the clock (!), rather than a thermostat. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the desk was usable."

Hotel Metropolitan Saitama Shintoshin

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely staff and very nice breakfast - the hotel has its own entrance and lift on the ground floor ( next to a covered bus stop) plus it’s only a hop and a skip away from the train station. One small issue was the air con in my room (and air con next to the main lift on my floor) had black spots so they could do with a clean. The cleaning staff look so busy and were always running about i imagine it’s just lack of staff why they might be missed."
