"This hotel is in a beautiful location with extensive grounds and several golf courses. The chateau is a lovely centre piece overlooking the lake. We stayed in Relais des Vigiers which is separate accommodation in the grounds. The room was large, very clean and the bathroom had a great shower. There was also an outside seating area. It was ver gomfortable. We also ate in the Bistro and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here."

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. "We loved this place! It was clean, very comfortable bed, plenty of room and very quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful! They booked a tour for me and my husband to the underground church (I highly recommend going there) and answered any questions we had. We travel a lot in Europe, and I must say that this was one of the nicest, cleanest and most helpful places I’ve ever stayed."
