"We were not happy with this hotel and therefore left a day early. Our main concern was that there was little air circulation and no air condition, only a fan, that made an annoying noise, and if we opened the window there was a lot of noise from the street. Even though we were not in Rouen during a particularly hot time, the room was extremely warm. The hotel room only had basic facilities, no fridge or ironing board. There was no elevator in the hotel. "A lovely homely hotel. Out of the way and very quiet….but only 5 minutes drive into Rouen (traffic permitting). Just be aware the restaurant is closed on Sundays and there is nowhere else to eat within walking distance. The proprietor is very warm and welcoming - it was lovely to meet him. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely book again there when next in the area. "
