"Hôtel bien placé et très propre . Parking . Ce qui est étonnant c'est que le balcon dessert toutes les chambres sans recoupement il faut dont fermer la baie et tirer le rideau car une personne d'une chambre voisine pourrait s'introduire ou regarder. A moins que le balcon ne serve d'issue de secours mais ça je ne sais pas."

"This place shouldn't really be classified as a hotel, it's old and decrepit, the reception when we arrived was inaccessible, we weren't given any information by email on how to access it and the lady who eventually opened the door only spoke French so we interpreted various codes to access the lift, the front door and the room. The furnishings are anything from 20-40 years old, the room was beyond basic with no air conditioning and upon leaving the window open to be able to sleep all we could...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Sainte-Anastasie?
The best area to stay in Sainte-Anastasie is near the town centre, particularly around the church and the main square, for easy access to local amenities and a peaceful village experience.

This area is the heart of Sainte-Anastasie, offering a quiet, traditional French village feel. You'll find a few local shops, a bakery, and a couple of eateries within easy walking distance. The historic church often serves as a central landmark, and the surrounding streets are generally residential, providing a tranquil base for your stay.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will appreciate this central location. It's an ideal spot for quiet strolls, enjoying local produce, and experiencing village life away from the hustle and bustle.
When is the best time to go to Sainte-Anastasie?
The best time to go to Sainte-Anastasie is during the late spring and early autumn months, specifically from May to June and September to October.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the area. You'll find mild temperatures, generally ranging from 15°C to 25°C, which are great for outdoor activities like hiking and visiting local markets without the intense heat of summer. The countryside is particularly beautiful during these times, with wildflowers blooming in spring and the changing colours of the leaves in autumn.

For those looking for a quieter experience, avoiding the peak summer holidays in July and August is advisable. While summer brings warmer weather, it also means more visitors, especially families, and a busier atmosphere.
