"We liked that it was part of Accuielle Velo. The dining room was not open but meal trays were offered. This was helpful because we were traveling by bike and the hotel is somewhat remote. The meals were simply small microwaveable dishes, plus some extras. Better than nothing but not worth 23 euros apiece! That is absurd for what we got. "To be honest we just wanted to stay overnight. Clean and basic, been staying in a Chateau beforehand!! Very quiet, no atmosphere. No soft music and the lady owner just 'hanging' around to support you. Maybe so different in the summer months, but if you wish to Villedieu definitely the place to stay overnight."

"A lovely stay in a traditional Normandy Manor House. We have stayed many times and will return. The rooms off the courtyard suit us best due to steep stairs in the main house. Lovely well maintained grounds (not extensive though). Plumbing can be a little erratic! Wonderful food at dinner and breakfast. Some dishes cooked on open fire. All home made. Family run, friendly & unassuming. "

"Our stay was perfectly fine. It was a little tighter spacewise than anticipated but we managed. Comfortable bed and good showering facility. Not much space to put anything and a bigger or another couple of towels would be an improvement.
