"Oh my goodness love you with absolutely breathtaking. Plenty of windows to enjoy the view from inside, yet great window covers to keep the sun out when sleeping. So quiet, private. A little slice of heaven in the middle of nowhere. There was a fan, candles, coffee, and a few extras that were so thoughtful to have for us. Our favorite was to sit in the window seat and drink coffee admiring the incredible view. We did not want to leave."

"What an amazing property with attention to detail in every room. The experience was definitely one that we will always remember from playing pool to swimming in the pool. From fishing to roasting a marshmallow at the campfire. The Master Suite was truly something to behold and loved the small touch of the king and queen capes! I loved looking up more of the history. Everywhere you looked some thing to be seen and I know we didn't see it all. The massive fireplaces and all the carved wood definitely showed the creativity of Guenther Foerster who built this amazing home from a small two room cabin to what it is today. The craftsman ship outside is spectacular with all the gargoyles...each one unique and the view from the tower as the sunset was nothing less than breathtaking. The stars at night were so bright and you could easily spot the big dipper and the milky way too. The hummingbirds have been coming there for years and likely drawn to the property by the original red roof. It was a blessing to be with someone who had previously helped to build and maintain the castle for over 15 years of his life. The stories he told and now being able to see them in real life was AMAZING!!!!"

"We were quite impressed with what has been done with the silo! Everything was clean and comfortable upon our arrival. The area was nice and quiet – just what we were looking for away from the city. Sunsets and star gazing were amazing. We would definitely love to come back to the area in the fall when the leaves have turned."

"If you are thinking about booking…BOOK.They thought of everything. Our stay was so relaxing and connecting. They had granola kind bars and trail mix waiting for us which was the perfect snacks for our 6 mile hike at Hawn State Park.We loved the stores pack also. Thank you for a perfect weekend!"
