"This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Owner thought of everything and it was so comfortable. The space was perfect, extra blankets, both types of coffee makers, firewood on site. This is a very new property and everything was immaculate and clean. Was easy to navigate check-in and house was so cute! Would definitely recommend to anyone heading to St Gen or any of surrounding areas."

"What an amazing property with attention to detail in every room. The experience was definitely one that we will always remember from playing pool to swimming in the pool. From fishing to roasting a marshmallow at the campfire. The Master Suite was truly something to behold and loved the small touch of the king and queen capes! I loved looking up more of the history. Everywhere you looked some thing to be seen and I know we didn't see it all. The massive fireplaces and all the carved wood definitely showed the creativity of Guenther Foerster who built this amazing home from a small two room cabin to what it is today. The craftsman ship outside is spectacular with all the gargoyles...each one unique and the view from the tower as the sunset was nothing less than breathtaking. The stars at night were so bright and you could easily spot the big dipper and the milky way too. The hummingbirds have been coming there for years and likely drawn to the property by the original red roof. It was a blessing to be with someone who had previously helped to build and maintain the castle for over 15 years of his life. The stories he told and now being able to see them in real life was AMAZING!!!!"
