When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. "My wife and I absolutely loved this stay. Beautiful home and very unique with it carved into the limestone. Additionally an added bonus was the dog the owners had who was simply the nicest dog we have ever met. It’s perfect location right in between some of the best wineries in the world. The pool area was perfect as well. Most importantly the staff was amazing they had several suggestions on places to go and all were perfect. We can’t wait to return."
