Full marks for value and location

Excellent location, immediate access to the city wall and to the beach,. Fifteen minute walk to the Brittany Ferries terminal. Caution, narrow and steep stairs.

Amazing sea view of the tidal pool and walls. Modern room, great bathroom and delicious range of food for breakfast. Lovely having seperate location and bars and restaurants next door! Great location and friendly staff.

This hotel was a great location to the beach. The room was bigger than we expected too. The owner was so friendly and approachable and helped us in every way. We checked in later than originally scheduled and she organized a cab for us in the morning, with a confirmation message through whatsapp. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Das Hotel liegt perfekt in der tagsüber sehr belebten Altstadt Intra Muros: durch die Pforte St.Pierre ans Meer oder über eine Treppe auf die Befestigungsanlage, der Blick aus dem Zimmer im 3. Stock (ohne Aufzug!) atemberaubend. Die Rezeption "übernimmt" das Cafe gegenüber, Check In und Kommunikation kein Problem.

The location of this hotel was beautiful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, but the room was tiny, bathroom was so cramped that we could not sit on the toilet without banging our knees on the shelf under the sink. But our primary disappointment came from our treatment by the first receptionist of the hotel. We were baffled and dismayed by her inexplicable hostility from the moment we arrived. While we are grateful that she did help us get another room when my 82-year old husband could not carry the suitcases all the way up the narrow stairs to the top floor, she seemed to resent us being there. One of the other ladies was very kind, warm and welcoming and she was the best part of our stay in St. Malo. But this other woman’s hostility towards us completely ruined our entire experience in St. Malo. We could never recommend this hotel.

I had an excellent time at the Hotel. The best location in Saint Malo, beautiful corner of the old town, by the walls with the best view over the ocean, and at the main beach. The staff were the just best, welcoming, smiling and caring, always there to help and assist. It really felt like being welcomed by a family. Very nice breakfast and finally the bar was also a nice place to work.
