The Space:
This country house built on two floors with 4 bedrooms can accommodate up to 8 people. On the ground floor, we find an open area on the living room, dining room and kitchen. The wood fireplace gives a warm atmosphere. The living room is also equipped with a sofa-bed for 2 people. The dining room can easily accommodate 10 people while the kitchen is fully equipped. The first floors also has a full bathroom with shower, a laundry room and a bedroom with a queen bed.
Upstairs, three other bedrooms can accommodate 6 additional people, also equipped with a queen bed each. The wooden rooms provide a rustic and relaxing atmosphere. The second floor also includes a small bathroom with a second toilet.
Outside, you will find a covered patio as well as a terrace equipped with a fireplace and a private hot tub.
Adaptation for reduced mobility
The chalet is adapted to accommodate people with reduced mobility. Whether it is temporary such as a broken leg or for a more permanent situation, the chalet will meet everyone's needs. There we find an obstacle-free route from the entrance to the entire ground floor. The kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and bedroom are all designed to facilitate their use as well as travel. Lower switches, shower without threshold, grab bars, clearance under the sink, wider doors are just a few examples of suitable items. We are very proud to be able to offer a chalet establishment adapted for a clientele too often forgotten.
Please note that this cottage is located on the side of the road. Please refer to the photos in order to have a better idea of the surroundings.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire chalet and the surrounding property. The chalet is located on a private lot providing a pleasant space to enjoy your stay.
Parking is available on site and the chalet offers a self check-in system with a door code for a simple and flexible arrival.
The Neighborhood:
The chalet is located in Saint-Léonard-de-Portneuf on Rang Saint-Paul. The area is easily accessible and close to many attractions in the region.
The village center of Saint-Léonard is about 2 minutes away where you will find a small grocery store and a few local services. The town of Saint-Raymond is located about 10 minutes away and offers several restaurants, shops and all the essential amenities for your stay.
Getting Around:
The chalet is ideally located for outdoor enthusiasts. You have direct access to the Jacques-Cartier Portneuf cycling path, perfect for biking and scenic walks. In winter, the snowmobile trail is also accessible nearby.
Several attractions are located just minutes from the chalet, including Eau Claire Beach and the Lac Simon Vacation Center, which offer a wide variety of activities such as swimming, kayaking, hiking and family activities.
The Portneuf region is well known for its natural landscapes and outdoor activities, while still being located only about 45 minutes from Quebec City.
Other Things to Note:
If you bring a dog to the cottage, it is important to follow these rules:
-The animal must never be left unattended and/or alone in the accommodation.
-The animal must be tied up at all times when it is outside the cottage. (Please provide the necessary equipment for this purpose)
-It is important that the animal does not make any noise (no barking or screaming that could disturb the neighbors).
-Comply with municipal regulations concerning animals.
-Do not allow the animal to climb on sofas and beds.
-Pick up all animal waste, both inside and outside.
-Be responsible for all costs related to damage caused by the animal.
Please note that the BBQ and outside fire area are available only during summer time.
