Breakwater is an executive 3 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath and one-half bath Newly Renovated home. This stunning home is situated on 10 acres of land which has 1200ft of Water Front Panoramic Breathtaking Views with a private beach overlooking the Bay of Fundy which is known for 30ft tides.

Breakwater is just 10 Minutes West from Downtown Historic Saint John. There is also several Local Hiking Trails. One is just 5 min away & Called Split Rock Trail which follows the Shore line right too the Musquash Lighthouse.. Lots of other Hiking Trails & Beaches along Our Coast to Enjoy as well Just minutes from This Hidden Hideaway...While watching the tides go in and out you may catch seals Planking on the rocks or porpoises feeding on schools of herring. Lots Of daily Seabirds and Local Bald Eagles..

Saint John has Lots of history, Great restaurants, & night life. Visit the local city market where you can pick up some local fresh food and vegetables.

The property has two decks, one on the front and back of the house equipped with a BBQ, and you can also sit and relax in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views while taking in the fresh salt air.

Family Seaside Stay

Beautiful place to stay

The house was impeccable and host was super nice. Very comfortable home with amazing views from every room. We had a great time relaxing and watch the changing tides. Walking trails and downtown St. John are only a short drive away. Would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing stay at Breakwater! We enjoyed breathtaking views, watching the sun rise over the bay every morning, and relaxing in the hot tub by night! This home was stocked with every conceivable necessity, making our stay stress-free. Karen was the perfect host, responding quickly to our inquiries and even supplying little welcome gifts and day trip recommendations! A momma deer and her triplets visited us nearly every morning, adding to our delight, and we do believe we saw seals in the distance. The kids (ages 13-20) and I would highly recommend Breakwater as a relaxing retreat!

This home is an actual slice of heaven. The photos are exactly what you can expect to find. Karen was a gracious host, and the house has everything you could possibly want or need! The views of the Bay of Fundy are incredible. We really didnt want to leave and are already planning our return!

Wonderful stay

Excellent location if you want some quiet time, next to the Bay, with a very large backyard. Very clean house with everything you need. We loved it so much we'll be back next year!

Great family trip

Fabulous Experience to Kick Off Retirement

Every aspect of our experience with this property was exceptional. The owners' attention to needs and detailed appointments surpassed any previous vacation rental we've had. The beautiful views of the bay, morning coffee with the seals and sunrise... it was a wonderful way to regenerate and begin this new phase of life.

Amazing place right on the bay

This has to be one of the best homes I have stayed in. The owner is friendly and accommodating. We had everything we needed and more. Saw harbor seals very close to shoreline. Thank you!

The ultimate NB stay

Karen’s home is absolutely beautiful! Spotless and stunning decor makes this the most beautiful spot to stay while in New Brunswick! This place has everything you need to relax (love the hot tub), fully stocked kitchen with everything you can think of! We will be back.

Lives Up to the Photos and More!

This property was absolutely beautiful and the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. Our family particularly enjoyed watching the seals in the back which would gather on the smallest outcrop of rock whenever the tide came in. The property has everything a family could need, and the owner was very friendly and prompt. It's also a great location: 20 minutes from Saint Johns, and roughly an hour-ish away from Saint Martins and Saint Andrews (both locations well worth a visit).

Saint John and Bay of Fundy Vacation Excursion

The Breakwater is a beautiful property happily situated on the Bay of Fundy. The stay was enjoyable with all the amenities of a luxury hotel in a picturesque and welcoming home. Easy day trip excursions to Fredericton, Fundy National Park, Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park and, of course, Saint John. We took a further yet reasonable drive to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Host was attentive and friendly.

Sisters Getaway

Our stay at this rental was great. We had an awesome view of the Bay of Fundy from all areas of the house. Seeing seals resting on the rocks when the tide was out was amazing as we have never seen them in their natural habitat. Also enjoyed the use of the hot tub. The location of this rental was close for us to do day trips to Hopewell Rocks and other attractions. It was just great to sit on their back deck, relaxing and enjoying the view!

Fabulous view of the Fundy Bay

We had a peaceful relaxing time at this beautiful house on the bay. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. They had just cleaned the hot tub so that was enjoyable. We also enjoyed watching the seals on the rocks right behind the house. Everything was positive about this place and we would like to return again someday. Thank you Karen for attending to our needs in such a timely way!

Absolutely stunning!

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed at this gorgeous home on our way back from Nova Scotia as our final stop before traveling back to Massachusetts. The location and the home itself are just beautiful, we felt instantly at home and quite pampered when we stepped in, and our host was super thoughtful and welcoming. We were able to hike and bike at Irving State Park, explore a bit of St. John, and just enjoyed a couple of days of complete relaxation before our trip back to reality. Highly recommend, and thank you so much, Karen, for sharing your lovely home!

Run don't walk to book this gorgeous house!

We stayed here for 8 days with family. I cannot overstate how beautiful this house and location are! The host Karen was a delight, and left no stone unturned. The house has every possible amenity you could want, and the views are incredible. Both sunrise and sunset were spectacular. We spent hours on the private beach just marveling at the colors of the stones and seaglass. It is close to St. John and the uptown area had many unique shops and great restaurants. We also took a day trip to the charming town of St. Andrews, and did nature walks/hikes in New River Beach and the Irving Nature Preserve. We can't stop looking at our photos and are already planning when to return to this truly magical home.

Sweet Time Away

Outstanding accommodations!! Home was perfect!! The views are amazing. Watching the tide coming in & out daily was great!! The wild life of deer, geese, seals and loom were a treat to watch and see. Magnificent house& views with wonderful and responsive owner.

The view is gorgeous but the house is spectacular. It is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. You want for nothing but if you do Karen will quickly respond. Whether you are relaxing inside or sitting in the hot tub enjoying the view of the water…it doesn’t get any better. We are looking for excuses to come back.

Great mini vacation for the family!

My family and I stayed at Karens house for a week and absolutely loved everything. The house is newly renovated and designed beautifully. Location is absolutely amazing. The wildlife (deer, seals, porpoises) that we saw everyday was a huge hit for the entire family. Couldnt have asked for a more accomdating hostess. Karen made sure we had absolutely everything we needed, including a highchair and playpen for our 1 year old and lots of games and colouring books for our 5 year old. If we're ever back in Saint John, NB. We will definitely be staying here again!

Quiet & secluded location on the Bay of Fundy

Lovely private home on the bay. The host, Karen, has thought of everything to make sure you have a comfortable space. Beautifully decorated. The entire back of the house is windows that ensure an excellent view of the Bay of Fundy! About 20 minutes to Saint John for dinner at Italian by Night. Excellent recommendation from Karen. Host was quick to respond to questions and provided some great recommendations for things to do in the area. The Fundy Trail Parkway is breathtaking! Absolutely recommend Karen’s beautiful home, great experience and great host!

Perfect Property!

The house is located on the bay at the end of a residential street. Private , but not secluded. The view of the Bay of Fundy is unrivaled and the sunrises are yours to enjoy daily. The yard is lush and expansive ( wonderful for our Doodle)! The house is modern, spotless , and well equipped with everything to make you feel at home. Hurricane Helene almost scuttled our trip but Karen worked with us and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s a wonderful location to explore NB and beyond. I could go on, but suffice to say, this was our top VRBO experience, hands down. You will not be disappointed.

The Perfect Stay!

This gorgeous house served as the perfect location for our girls get away. Everything is done and taken care of to the highest quality and standard. The kitchen- amazing! The master bedroom and bathroom- just wow! The view- breathtaking! Very clean and nothing was lacking…they even had beach blankets that we used to sit on the beach for a snack after our hike at New River Beach. Karen was easy to communicate with, check in & out smooth and hot tub a bonus. Totally exceeded expectations.
