"Gorgeous property. Beautiful room.
No English at reception and no hot water in room. Very mixed feeling about this place. By far the only place we stayed where we felt that no one cared we were there. "

"Meng and Arthur were the perfect hosts. What a beautiful property, lovingly worked on by Meng. They were very accommodating to me being gluten free for breakfast and when my friend and I could not get a taxi or Uber to Giverny, Arthur drove us there! Now that is service. The village itself was charming and just the right pace after 5 days in bustling Paris. Highly recommended "

"Quite a unique and impressive looking hotel - a genuine French Chateau with interesting history. This old property obviously therefore comes with its 'shabby chic' quirks. The toilet was in a separate room in the bathroom which was literally the size of the toilet!
The hotel offers breakfast but no other mealtimes, so you do need to leave the grounds (drive) to find somewhere to eat in the evening. The local town where there are a couple of restaurants feels out of kilter with the hotel as the...

"Very nice hotel in a very quiet and beautifully landscaped area. The staff is super nice, the decor makes you feel like in a castle, from the room decoration to the lobby and the yard. I did a walk around the castle and they also have a garden, growing their own food. I wish I had a breakfast or dinner in here but I was there only for a few hours of sleep.
Thanks for the welcome."

"Excellently placed hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was simple but clean. The bed was very comfortable. A great place for a one night stop over."

"Very friendly receptionist on check-in. She noticed my wife was not very steady on her feet, so changed our room to an accessible room in an annex on the ground floor.
The evening meal in the 20 du Domaine bistro restaurant was great value and they prepared a special vegetarian main course for me.
Early in the morning, I received an alert message of a Eur 30.24 charge on the banking app on my phone. When we checked out after breakfast, there was no reference to this charge on our bill! The...

"Great hotel and very helpful staff. Located close to other restaurants and fast food outlets. Good breakfast.
Only let down by in house restaurant not being open at weekends."

"Had a 2 night stopover at this hotel. Fascinated by the ingenious upcycling. Lots of attention paid to being eco-friendly and eliminating unnecessary waste. The example the Greet showed was admirable and gave us a sense of being in a caring environment.
Room was clean, comfortable, adequately equipped and met our needs. Only moan was that there was no net curtain on window. We were overlooked from apartments across the road, so had to keep curtain closed. "
