"I want to begin this review by saying i was thoroughly impressed with this hotel and staff. I would be so bold as to say this hotel is the BEST in all of Gurugram, and i say that with confidence because i have stayed at many of the 4 and 5 star hotels here. Special thanks must be given to Sylvester because his professionalism and indepth explanation is what ultimately led to me book my stay at the Taj. I usually do indepth research and when i came across the interview he did, i had a great feeling about my stay. He is just as pleasant and professional as he was on the video. "ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I was flabbergasted at how awful this place is being ran. From the time I checked in to the last moment I received nothing but poor service. I first checked into the hotel and had to carry my own bags up. I stopped off by the restaurant/bar area and ordered a dirty martini. I was served a drink with spoiled olives inside. When I requested a different cocktail I was told they did not have grenadine. As I was waiting a roach ran across my foot in the restaurant. The place was completely dysfunctional. I had to send food orders back that were simple request like no dressing on the salad. I was bothered multiple times about what beverage I wanted during a breakfast and was left completely thirsty because the waiter forgot he even asked me anything. The housekeep sit around in the empty rooms playing on their phones while there is large amounts of mold under the shelves in the showers. The final straw happened at checkout. After I initially checked in I requested a cab at 6am sharp to get me to the airport. I was promised it would be ready and when I came down to checkout there was no cab. The concierge was like a deer in the head lights had no clue what I was talking about. They made me wait 16 mins for a cab. This place is a huge "DONT GO""

"We stayed for a night on transit from the airport. Nice spacious rooms & friendly service. The room service dinner was very good, also enjoyed the all-veg breakfast, freshly cooked parotta, hot milk & spicy chai etc.. Bathroom was nice & clean, plenty of shower water, but would been better if the hot water temperature was little higher... There was a huge traffic from the airport on friday night, taking almost 1hour by taxi, but it was smooth the next morning, took only 30mins to the airport. Thank you, will stay again. "

"Stay away! Pathetic experience. Firstly the room was not ready, so they moved me to a building next to this booked residency. That building was literally a broken building with rooms. I had no choice, but to stay as already exhausted from travel. My room had no keys so then they again moved me to another "spare" room. In the evening the Room got locked out and the keys won't work. Even maintenance guy could not open it and I was left outside for 45mins. Maintenance guy they told me this building no one ever comes and someone was locked out previous week as well. I was told to exit from the bathroom side door and not use main door. This is a nightmare situation any guest should not go through. At check-in I specifically told to make sure to give a proper room. Only charging money without any proper care for guests."
