"Andrew and Allyson have a special place here! You have built a beautiful home with all anyone could need when traveling. I have to say the mosquitos are fierce n I believe a screen house is absolutely required to allow yard use, being unable to enjoy your beautiful property was really the only downfall of this rental."

"My family and I (3 adults, 2 kids, 3 dogs) stayed the night in chalet #8 which was great as well we’re at the end of the road. With the amazing views both from the front of the cabin looking out towards Pictou harbour and the surrounding areas as well as the back had trails and a look out point that you could see out into the valleys/fields. From the laid back atmosphere being up in the mountains it truly was an enjoyable getaway. It felt just like a log cabin retreat, and enjoying the bbq, bon fire and breath taking morning views with coffee seemed to just complete the experience. It’s definitely a place I would head back to no problem. There is a play ground, volleyball court, and a pool/hot tub, good to keep the kids busy as well. The dogs loved it too, worth the stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, a wonderful experience and lasting memories."

"The only other places I can remember staying that I enjoyed nearly as much were Fairmonts. Beautifully appointed, soothing little cabin - the hot tub is fantastic, but for me the hammock next to the brook was even better. You almost certainly won't have cell reception at least inside the cabin - as far as I'm concerned, that's a huge selling point as well! Can't wait to come back!"

"This is a lovely space for entertaining, especially a group of adults and adult kids. We had a group of eight at maximum, and we were very comfortable. The two other showers could be hotter, but the one in the master suite, a walk-in, is excellent. Everything we needed was there, but clothes and food/drink and a few toiletries. There's tons of closet space, and good, if rather small laundry machines. The kitchen has most Everything you need, including classy dishware and glassware by Fable. We had a beautiful stay in late spring, the lupins were magnificent, as was the technicolor island, in the sunshine."
