Nice place?

We did not receive the free spa treatment that was included in the stay, nor were there chairs or a table on the balcony, and the description of how close the hotel is to attractions is severely exaggerated, but the hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable.

Friendly staff. Great location. Housekeeping could be sharper [my Sensodyne mini-tube of toothpaste disappeared and the minibar wasn’t restocked without prompting], but all-in-all good.

Nice hotel but not really 4 star

The staff was very helpful. Hotel was located quite close to the town Centre, but now directly at its heart. There is a street of massage outlets on the way to the hotel, so you can have a late night massage. The hotel staff is unable to help book a transfer from Hanoi, so you have to do it yourself. Although it is rated 4 star, the facilities do not live up to expectations. I would rate it 3 star (international standards), but I it is quite a plush hotel by Vietnam standards.

The location of the hotel is removed from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town so it feels peaceful and quiet, but it still easily walkable to restaurants and shops. The room was large and bright and amenities were adequate. The buffet breakfast has fairly standard options with a range of Vietnamese and Western dishes. Overall the value for money at this hotel is decent and I would stay here again.

Ignored on arrival standing in front of reception counter. After a few minutes he looked up and just said passports like he was immigration official. First breakfast was like a war zone. Supervisor wandering around pretending to be busy not seeing any of the unclean tables. Section of restaurant closed off to guests even though there were no tables available.

Limited food choices from the breakfast buffet. Doesn’t feel like a resort even though they claim to be one. Staffs not as friendly or approachable.

Sehr hartes Bett

Das Bett ist so hart man könnte auch auf dem Boden schlafen. Das Rauchen auf dem Balkon ist verboten. Gratis Spa wurde nicht angeboten und Zimmerupgrade auch nicht erhalten. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Gym und der Pool hat sehr spezielle Öffnungzeiten. Von 7 am bis 9 und dann erst wieder ab 4pm.
