Very clean. Mountain view was incredible. We also stayed in a standard room that was also very clean but did have some street noise. Food was good at buffet. Pool clean. Friendly staff. Would stay again
For our first visit to Sapa, we are so happy we stayed at the Bamboo Hotel! It is conveniently located for both trekking and the amenities of Sapa. The rooms were clean, the food was great and the onsite spa was a delight. By far, the best part though was the staff. They were all so wonderful but in particular, Julie at the front desk went above and beyond for us every chance she had. She even went as far as hand delivering a birthday cake (with a song!). We would love to come back to the and stay!
The hotel was pretty nice, the staff were decent. Nothing to complain about, the hotel does really have pretty amazing views. I really liked that the hotel was just a little down the road from the main part of town, so its a little more quiet, also the restaurants across the street were really good.
We were warmly greeted on arrival by wonderful bell staff and Ngoc Du and Ngoc Anh. We were impressed with their english skills and outstanding customer service. The bell boys were also responsive and helpful. We unfortunately had a noise issue to do with a large family staying in the room beside us. Manager Dzu promptly dealt with our complaint which was much appreciated. Dzu also greatly assisted us in booking transportation back to Hanoi. All round excellent service, and if the mist lifts at and around the hotel, you will also enjoy amazing views of the mountains. So its worth extra for a room with a view!
We travelled to Bamboo hotel during a very low volume time. The hotel was beautiful however with very few guests some things were lacking. We were happy with our room but not happy that the balconies had no chairs to sit on. The pool also had no cushions on the few wicker chairs that were there and no loungers other than the stationary ones in the pool. The breakfasts were okay but the coffee was very disappointing. It was not ready at 7 am when we came down even though breakfast started at 6. When I inquired about coffee a sterno was lit and placed under the jug of yesterday’s coffee to reheat it. I did not have coffee. Overall the location is good and has shops and restaurants near it.
God beliggenhed.

The staff was very nice and helpful as possible. We had a beautiful view and didn't have any issue with construction noise. We liked the location. The only issue was that we reserved a room for 3 adults. It was hard to tell from online what they'd actually be, but they appeared to be normal beds. One bed was a huge bed that was actually 2 double or queen beds put together, and wasn't very soft. The other bed was a rollaway twin that was extremely hard. We asked if the giant bed could be separated, but they said it couldn't.
The situation would probably be fine for 2 adults and a child, but they'd benefit a lot more from having a room with two doubles than a giant bed like that, and more clear phrasing would help.
The room was spacious but very old with Uncomfortable mattress, staining pillows, staining towels and smelly sofas. Hotel was surrounded with multiple reconstruction sites that created noise from 6am everyday. The whole street was muddy due to light rain and construction. Traffic was really bad on this street. Breakfast was horrible. Overall, hotel room has spectacular view of the mountain but it is dirty, discomfort and very pricey.
No charm. Cold lobby where the staff and guests wear coats. Dirty walls in need of paint and cleaning. Plumbing problems in the bathroom with a flood every time water was turned on. In general the place is run on the cheap. Basically a budget hotel for the Chinese.
I stayed at the Suite room of this hotel.
The room was too big for 2 persons to stay but it was good.
The view of Sapa, hills and mountains, was splendid.
(I frankly can advise that there might be lots of hotels with such a view).
Breakfast was really good.
After trekking in the day of check-out, I could use the room for shower with 3 USD.
Staffs were really kind, even though some of them can not speak English.
