"No AC. The blow dryer they have attached to the wall, caught on fire while I was using it. The location was good and convenient as it was across the street from the Tram."

"Hotel is close to the tram station. It is served by tram 2 - Westlandgracht stop. The re immediately surrounding the hotel was bit shady. There were sometimes people who appeared homeless and people soliciting. Luckily it’s a short walk to the hotel from the station. The hotel itself was clean and the lobby welcoming. Check-in is digital and you get to choose your room, based on availability. The room was clean and beds made daily. Bathroom was weird and difficult to navigate. There needs to be a glass door and a bigger lip preventing water from flowing from shower int the bathroom There was a small refrigerator in the room but no microwave. There is a pizza vending machine in the lobby in case your needed a quick snack. There was a kettle in the room and complimentary coffee and tea packets. Staff was friendly and helpful nd assisted me in finding a laundromat nearby. Hotel was pricey for the value. I would stay there gain but bathroom needs some work."

"Lovely hotel and our second time visiting, the only thing we weren’t keen on was the new self check in service, it just felt quite impersonal! We preferred it when there was a proper reception. Other than that, more food options where reception is would be handy as there aren’t too many places local. Nice hotel but these are just personal preferences. Staff helpful when they were there."

"The hotel is great honestly. Maybe not as close to the center but the rooms are spacious, the hotel is well maintained, there were different nglish language channels on TV. There's a very nice park infront of the hotel Rambrandt park. An 8 minute walk to amsterdam lelylaan station which is a small train station you can go to zaandam from that not needing to go to Central station. It is also a 5 minute train ride from there to the airport. There's also a tram station 2 minute walk from the hotel surinamplein station that takes you to leidsplein and Dam. Check in and check out was very smooth as well. But by far the spacious rooms is a nice change from normal room sizes in Amsterdam. Thank you Westcord hotel will definitely recommend to my friends and family."

"Good for what you need. A little bit of a walk to central but easy tram or train connections. Lovely but comfortable bed with decent size TV. Unfortunately there was mould in our room by the wardrobes. We weren’t in the room enough to really be bothered by it. Also you get given 2 coffee pods and then our room wasn’t cleaned for the whole weekend so no refill and my partner asked for a coffee, was made one and it was added to our bill! Would have been nice to know there’s a charge or be told to ask to clean the room/get more coffee. Overall we were happy with our stay and very pleasant staff members! For the price, it does the job! Also you can only smoke the special tobacco out the front."
