"A great, cute and quiet retreat, which I regrettably only stayed in for one night, as I enjoyed eating my takeaway pizza (rock'n'roll) sat out as the sun set and listening to the wildlife. Would definitely return if I'm in the area again, recommend."

Dog faeces on paths. Toilet broken. No microwave. Needs updating and cleaning of the shower room. Lounge and bedroom roomy and comfortable. "

"Overall very good although the breakfast was a little disappointing. Our room was lovely and very comfortable and the overall decor of the lodge was excellent. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We shall be visiting again. "

"Property really well fitted out, warm and comfortable. Only issues were:Bed in main bedroom - way too soft. I like a firm mattress but even medium is ok. But this sunk a foot as soon as you sat on it.Outside lighting - fell over the slight step in the back yard about 3 times before I made sure to use a torch."
