We had a fantastic time and felt like we were home the minute we walked in. Every detail was considered and attended to. We enjoyed a short hike in the Shenandoah National Park and a great little pizza place nearby. Our stay was short but memorable! Thanks so much!!
Cozy, comfortable and well equipped. The host was super responsive and very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area. Scenic and rural location, yet convenient to grocery store, restaurants, etc. We would stay again!
Me and three of my bridesmaids stayed here for a long weekend bachelorette party! The property was exactly what we were looking for. It was the perfect size for a chill girls getaway and so close to our favorite wineries and shopping spots Bri was very easy to reach when we needed her and incredibly kind. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Charlottesville area!
We needed a place to gather our family together for a short stay. Easy check in. House was very clean and in a nice somewhat remote area, so it was quiet! Water pressure could use some improvement but besides that this was a nice stay!
This is such a perfect place to stay for those visiting Shenandoah. Super clean, great location and had everything we needed for our weekend get away. The hosts are amazing and you won't go wrong with booking their place. :)
We arrived at the nicely appointed home. The home had everything needed for a friend get together. The property was on a quiet road but located close to amenities for grocery and food options. We all enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive .
Perfect house for our girls weekend. Lovely, comfortable, clean, and well-appointed home. After a day of visiting wineries, it was delightful to relax on the back porch around the fire pit. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast were a fabulous surprise. The owners were friendly and helpful!
The property was immaculate and comfortable. It felt like our home away from home. The hosts really did think of everything. The location was close to the wedding venue and to beautiful outdoor activities. Thanks again.
We had a wonderful time at this home! So clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Beds are super comfortable and slept all 8 of us easily! Clean big bathrooms for us all the share. Cute surrounding area too, and close to a lot of wineries. Highly recommend! Will be back!
Quiet, quaint and super cute ! Hosts so welcoming and personal. Stayed here after a HS football game since we have an almost 4 hour drive home. Wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!
Perfect place for group of 4 for girl's wine weekend. House was clean, spacious and exactly as presented in listing.
Bri is an amazing host, great communication and recommendations.
Best part of the trip was the homemade chocolate chip cookies!!
Would 100% stay here again.
Beautiful home, warm and cozy, 10 mins to Shenandoah
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was close to Charlottesville downtown and Shenandoah national park and thats what we wanted. There are several vineyards nearby.
The host was easy to communicate with. We had some issues with water pressure that were promptly addressed.
Myself, husband and dear friends came for a weekend getaway. House and location very nice. We visited local wineries and Walton Mtn. Easy drives! The only thing we can say is that BBQ grill had no propane and the propane fire pit had none as well Those things were a little disappointing
This was a perfect property for us, two couples wanting to tour wineries! Our host made several suggestions of places to visit and we weren't disappointed. This home sits on a beautiful property and the setting was very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck overlooking the woods and listening to the chickens. A very comfortable and welcoming home!
Our family stayed here for a wedding weekend that was at Guilford Farm. The home was so comfortable, spotless and exactly what we needed. We were greeted with a lovely note from our host along with fresh cookies and a bottle of wine, along with fresh eggs from the on-property chickens. The home had super comfortable beds, games and best of all, a gorgeous view and close to some outstanding restaurants. We hope to return!
Just returned from a weekend at this lovely home with three lifelong friends. Everything about this home is perfect: well appointed kitchen, beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable with a spa like feel. Nice deck with a fire pit, and even chickens if you want to visit them :-). Our host left a lovely little gift for us on arrival and we could not have enjoyed our stay anymore than we did. We will 100% be booking this property for the same weekend next year. We are truly looking forward to coming back again!
The house was lovely with a nice welcome gift and binder full of details! The decor was perfectly done and the house was extremely comfortable.
Only thing that was noted was there was a hot tub, but there isn’t. That made NO difference to our group at all and I would stay there again, no question!
Bri was very easy to communicate with and helpful with details too.
The house is nicely decorated with comfortable beds and furniture and lots of seating for it being a relatively small living area. We had both sets of grandparents and two kiddos (2.5 and 5months) with us and it worked for a F-Su stay. Much longer and it would have been cramped. The land isn’t as walkable as we expected it to be and the chickens were hatching their eggs so we didn’t get to collect eggs. Simply bad timing on that front but good to be aware that can happen. The garden doesn’t really exist - at least it was just weeds when we were there. Bri was super helpful and accommodating and we had a great time overall - thankfully it stopped raining so we were able to get out a bit to local hikes/wineries. Definitely not a house for being cooped up in as you’re a bit on top of each other. The gas fire pit and back porch are lovely and get a wonderful sunset view and the rooster adds some country charm in the mornings but isn’t disruptive to sleep. Good sized bathroom in main bedroom (can fit a pack n play).
The house was so perfect and beautiful. It was such a great place. We will definitely be searching for this place for future trips. Host was great with communication and hospitality.
Pleasant and cozy, this farmhouse stay was enjoyable for all. The grandkids loved the chickens and the eggs for breakfast, the adults liked the kitchen and space in bedrooms. It was a great location away from the hustle bustle of the city, but still convenient to drive to wineries and stores.
We were in town for the Virginia Clay Festival and the location was perfect! A short drive to the event location and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The house is perfect! The lot is very quiet and peaceful. We didn't think of anything we needed that wasn't provided.
