"The hotel feels very new, and our room was clean and comfortable. If you’re coming to Tonga for a Swim with Whales experience, this is a great place to stay. The wharf is only about a five-minute walk away, which was especially convenient for the early morning whale trips. The hotel also offers car rentals, with a choice between a hatchback and a larger vehicle, and they can help arrange taxis as well. This was really helpful for us since we don’t speak Tongan and weren’t familiar with getting around locally. We stayed for a few nights and really enjoyed the service. The staff were friendly and helpful, and whenever we needed something, they were happy to assist. They really became our most reliable local connection during the trip, which made our stay much easier. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. The cheapest room type doesn’t have a TV, and the soundproofing isn’t great. The hotel provided earplugs, which was appreciated. Apart from the noise issue, we had a really good experience here. The location, cleanliness, and especially the service were all excellent. If you’re planning to do Swim with Whales in Tonga, I’d definitely consider staying here."

"when we checked in on 9/21 the receptionist was so rude. Rather then asking how can I help you she said in a rude town what do you want. I stood there waiting cause she was typing and didn’t acknowledge that I walked in and when I stood there for 3min she then said what do you want? I then said I wasn’t sure whether you she was busy cause she didn’t greet me she was just glued to her screen and didn’t say anything. She then check me in asked my id then told me I have to return the key to the front desk when I check out. She seemed as if she was rushing. I then asked where the elevator was cause he had a lot of luggage and she said they didn’t have one. I asked how many floors and which floor was our room on and she said all the rooms were on the second floor. I told her it was our first time the hotel and wasn’t familiar with the hotel. She brushed me off and continue typing what ever it was that she was typing. I felt like I was bothering her. Mind you we got in on a later flight and got to the hotel around 930pm and were super tired. Anyway we went upstairs and looked for our room. It was confusing cause our room was at the end of the hall on the otherside of the staircase . rooms were huge and the bed was very big (king bed) which was amazing. After bringing our stuff upstairs I and getting settled in my mom and I couldn’t figure out how to turn off the main room lights. We pushed every button and still could t figure it out.she rudely said it’s on the wall but it wasn’t"

"Very spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation. All 3Rooms are large all have closets, beds are queen sizes and comfortable. Master bedroom with ensuite, has laundry with huge w/machine and dryer, has a/c and built in fans, beautiful views from the porch. The host is a very friendly and generous gentleman and offers to help with anything we need. Overall one of the best accommodation my family have ever stayed in and enjoyed and next time we do back we'll definitely book this beautiful place."
