"The staff were all super friendly and helpful.We did valet our car for 3 nights which was expensive ($60/night) but parking in Boston stinks anywhere and the valet was convenient so we didn't have to drive around looking for a garage.There is also a $40/night "hotel" fee which I know the city puts onto the bill but it is a bit ridiculous money grab. Our room (813) was a nice corner room. We loved the night light in the bathroom under the mirror that was red and on a motion sensor. The shower was clean, with a strong shower head. I'm 6'2" and fit in the shower with ease. The room also had a safe and the service was great. My kids LOVED the fact that snacks and water were included. They are so programmed to never eat anything in the room. There were bikes available in the lobby but my 12 year old was a little nervous riding in the bike lanes so we just walked everywhere. We picked the Godfrey because of it's central location and proximity to Boston Commons. You are near Cheers, the Freedom trail and subway. We walked to Fenway for a game because it was so nice outside (35 minutes) and took the subway back after the game. My only complaint would be the placement of the mini-fridge. It was right next to one of the beds where you lay your head to sleep so it would turn on/off all night. It was loud enough to be quite annoying to the person sleeping in that spot. If they could put it inside of piece of furniture or move it away from the bed that would help. "

"We met a couple of very pleasant ladies who worked here, especially the afternoon/evening manager 5/17/26, about 430pm who kindly helped us track down our GrubHub order - above and beyond. The girl who checked us in at the lobby desk went out of her way to be disrespectful and rude. We sent 3 messages in the week prior to our arrival requesting an early check-in for medical reasons - Expedia called them. We're nearly 70 and my husband w/ serious health issues needed to lie down - we would arrive 1-2 hours before check-in. "NO, check-in's at 3". She repeated it that like a mantra when we finally checked in at130pm. She said "whatever" and "do what you want" in response to my protests ... but she understood I wasn't leaving her desk. Never in 50 yrs of travel have we ever been denied that request if it was reasonable. Had nice complimentary hot breakfast in a.m. Wonderful after being up all night - hotel near police station and major urban hospital w/ active ER. Almost continual sirens ALL night. Boston. Be careful - not a great neighborhood and main hotel door in back - NOT on street that is listed as address. So much for take-out deliveries or cabs getting you there! Didn't find hotel restaurant/bar until check-out. Very poor floor plan. Only found breakfast bar by following aromas!"

"The hotel is in a perfect location. If you want to ride a multi stop tour bus there just so happens to be a pickup right outside the hotel. Just across the street is the Sheraton that is linked to the Prudential Center upscale mall that also connects to another hotel. We also were in walking distance the the historical FENWAY PARK to catch a baseball game. You are safely walking to and from the game with a large amount of people. The Hilton accommodations were excellent as we got there a little before check in but the check in person got us in a room that was actually an upgrade almost immediately. The room was very clean and the King sized bed was extremely comfortable. There was a desk area in our room if you had to do some work They offered a $10 discount on full service breakfast each morning up til 11am There was a bar area to enjoy a drink We had a corner room that was very quiet. Didn't hear any exterior noises. Nice size TV with streaming capabilities I would highly recommend the Hilton for anyone looking to enjoy the city of Boston We would definitely stay there again upon our return"
