"I can’t say enough, how much we thoroughly enjoyed our four days at this hotel. It is a very unassuming hotel, but the staff are absolutely lovely. The buffet breakfast while not spectacular did the trick every morning. There is always someone cleaning something. The location is absolute perfection. You are about a three minute walk to such a beautiful beach. If you are lucky enough, you will have a room that overlooks that beach. There is a lovely pool area and many options for lounging and getting some well-deserved vitamin D. There are two restaurants, literally around the corner and you are about a three minute walk from the hub of activity of the old town, but far enough away to not be impacted by the activity and the noise of that area. It is also centrally located to everything else that you might want to see in the Algarve‘s. Lagos is a 40 minute drive as is Tavira."

"We arrived with no high expectations as we’d booked quite late on and was one of the cheaper options but were certainly not disappointed. Small and quiet hotel in a nice area (away from the noise but easily walkable to Old Town), small but adequate outside pool with sun beds that were never very busy, friendly staff and nice clean room. Easy 10 min walk to a great beach, the Marina is also only a 15 min walk and worth a visit. Can’t really fault the hotel, you get what you pay for and I’d say this was very good value with a good daily breakfast thrown in."

"Lovely apartment well located, large and comfortable. Everything worked and the pool was quiet and large. A few minor points to be considered; the internal tray and wire shelf of the cooker had not been cleaned and had previous occupiers food. Please replace kitchen light it appears to be only 25 watt. Finally print out washing machine programmes ( the knob only has single letters). We had a very nice time with car just down below in a large garage fully recommend this apartment."

"We had a roof terrace that we loved, 1 bedrooms apartment between 2 adults, 2 children and an infant. The room was spacious and clean, offered what we needed and were happy to recommend Pateo Village. It was a 10 minute walk down into old town. With a park on the way if you go the right way. If I had to pick the bones out of it, maybe the shop could be a bit more reasonable in price and the entertainment wasn’t on this year. We didn’t eat in the bar so cannot comment on that. The kitchenette was well equipped and we made full use of it; eating lunch on the terrace was a particular highlight for us. The pool area is great, clean and welcoming"
