"Hotel was clean, staff welcoming, facilities good, lovely hot, powerful shower. Very close to bars and restaurants…if this is what you have come to Albufeira for, then perfect. Be warned….this is an extremely noisy hotel!! Bar/club noise from midday until 4am. If you want to sleep before this, take ear plugs! The hotel inside is also noisy, we could clearly hear what our neighbours were doing, we heard every conversation and phone ringing from reception, hoovering in corridors and everyone going up/down the stairs. First floor room. Maybe other rooms higher up would have been quieter. "

"I was booked in for the hotel which was close to the beach. But apparently they had two hotels which i booked was a bit far away from the beach so i had to pay extra for the one close to beach which was a superior room. The bed was two single beds attached for a superior room. But the staff told me that he will get it sorted the next day. But they didn’t. So basically as couple we had sleep in different cots. Also the air conditioning was the worse. It was very warm in the room even after bringing the air conditioning to low and the sound from the fan was horrible. I couldn’t get a proper sleep. The breakfast, the view and the soundproofed rooms were fantastic. "

"Of all the places on my trip that I’ve stayed so far, this was my favorite. The view was absolutely spectacular. You can easily overlook the entire bay and walk to the beaches in minutes. You are surrounded with lovely restaurants and snack bars and everything Alphea has to offer. I had such a nice balcony with table and chair chairs and enjoyed sitting on my balcony watching the sunrise every morning. It was unbelievable!"

"The hotel staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good with a large choice to suit all tastes. The nearby nightlife goes on well into the early hours and can be very disturbing if you don’t want to be part of it!"
