This is a lovely hotel - particularly the breakfasts, which are superb. It's a perfect base to visit Delft, Gouda and the Tulip Fields.
But...
We stayed over a weekend and decided to eat in the hotel on the Saturday night. On previous nights, we'd seen people eating tasty looking burgers. But, apparently, at the weekend they have a VERY limited menu, although there's nothing in the hotel to tell you that. So, the menu we were offered had no starters, just three main course choices and one dessert. By this time, we'd had a couple of drinks, so couldn't drive anywhere else (and you need to drive because it's a long way out of Rotterdam) and we didn't fancy the McDonalds next door, so we made our choices. But the food was decidedly average - more like a motorway services than a hotel restaurant.
To be fair, when we complained, the staff were very helpful and, in the end, they reimbursed us for one of the meals and said if we stay there again, they'll offer a meal on the house. But it would have been nice to know about the lack of choice beforehand.
