"We enjoyed our stay here…it was in a great location…walking distance to many shops & restaurants, plus the path to the state park. Our room was very spacious, with a fireplace and very comfortable bed. It was very quaint & charming and looks recently redecorated and updated. The staff was also very helpful & friendly. We will definitely stay here again!"

"We rented this house and arrived after driving for 9 hours to find it had been condemned. We were in contact with the owner on our way there who didn’t bother to tell us it had been condemned the week before. We called him when we got there and he didn’t answer the call forcing us to contact VRBO to get a refund. He left our family of 8 scrambling to find another place to stay for our 8 day vacation costing us an additional 500 out of pocket not to mention the hassle and stress. I do not recommend anyone book this property. The owner should be ashamed of himself. "

"Spectacular RentalWe had a family reunion with adults from all over the country meet in Grand Haven. This rental house is nothing short of spectacular. The design choices are exquisite with so many details in every room (even the guys noticed!) The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We did a lot of cooking while on site and nothing was missing. We also thought that the bedrooms and beds were all comfortable enough and I found the twin beds in the basement to be the softest which agrees with my back. There were enough bathrooms for nine adults to comfortably shower as needed. The location to the beach is perfect with a short walk down some steep steps. They have every beach toy you could imagine including easy to carry chairs which we took down to the beach one day. As mentioned in the description, the parking is a bit of a challenge but worth it. The house is situated in a neighborhood called Highland Park Association which was very quaint with many beautiful lake houses all nestled into a very small area. We were able to unload our car including coolers and food without much difficulty. It would be difficult to find this spot in the dark. The video that they provide from the parking lot to the house is very helpful. We felt very safe and secure with the automatic door lock feature and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We sat out on the deck for all of our meals and we were able to make s'mores one night at the propane fire pit. Just a perfect getaway."

"The owners were incredibly nice and great communicators. However, there were some misleading details about the property. If you are an average sized adult male, there is only one bed in the place that you can sleep in without your legs hanging off the bed. Just, note that if you are traveling with a group. The number of people it “sleeps” is not accurate unless all the guests are miniatures. Otherwise, adorable place, great location!"

"Honore’s home was beautifully decorated and full of pleasing art work. The home was well equipped and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for food preparation and storage. The master bedroom is large and comfortable. The three bathrooms were a big plus. You can hear the sound of the lake especially at night. Our favorite thing about the house was the location which is on top of a dune surrounded by trees with partial views of the lake through the other cottages. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the scenery and the breeze. Although there is no air conditioning, we were comfortable due to the many windows, ceiling fans in every room, and breeze off of the lake. We really enjoyed being more connected to the outdoors with the windows open. Honore is an accessible, responsive, and kind host. We felt right at home. "

"They place was as advertised. The parking situation is awful but we did know that ahead of time. No air is brutal but also we did know this so can’t really complain. Not safe for young kids with very steep stairs. It was a great location for us and we had a lovely trip. "
