"We absolutely loved our stay at Pair-a-dice! The view of Lake Michigan was amazing, especially the sunsets. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and drinks in the evenings, The cottage was comfortable and clean while still having the historic charm of Highland Park.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and feeding a large group with plenty of seating. We brought our own blender and spices. The location was fantastic — convenient to the beach and just a short distance from downtown Grand Haven. It made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.Communication with our host, Jay, was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay.A couple of things future guests should know: there are 33 steps to get up to the cottage, so it could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues or when carrying luggage, groceries, beach chairs, and other items. Also, the trash and recycling area is a bit of a walk from the cottage. It would have been helpful to know the pickup schedule for both ahead of time so we could have planned accordingly.We had a wonderful week in Grand Haven and would happily return."

"It was an amazing location! We easily walked to the beach and into town. The house was great - lots of places to gather and socialize and very high end furnishings and amenities. It does live a bit loud so if you have people on different schedules could be difficult."

"My only concern was the overall cleanliness of the property. The floors were noticeably dirty, and the windows appeared as though they had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. Given the property’s beautiful views, it was disappointing that the condition of the windows made it difficult to fully appreciate them.Considering the premium price point of the rental, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness and attention to detail. The property itself is beautiful, but improved housekeeping and overall upkeep would have made our experience much more enjoyable and better aligned with the cost of the stay"

"The location was perfect for beach days. Close proximity made for a very easy walk across the street to the beach parking lot. The location was clean inside, but deck area could have been broomed off. Prior to us arriving someone had broken the handle off the dryer. We notified owner that it needed fixed, but parts weren't available immediately. Lights on the ceiling fans needed tightened too but still worked just fine. The kitchen has many tools and kitchen stuff to make for easy cooking. Rooms were of a good size with plenty of space for travel stuff."

"This is our third time staying here. It really is the perfect location to walk to the city beach or a quick drive (or nice walk) to town. The outdoor space is fabulous and the location at the top of the dune under the trees means there is always a cool breeze keeping the temperature always comfortable without air conditioning. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the lake. The house is well laid out and fit our two families. It had everything we needed. I look forward to staying again,,"

"This is a very, very nice condominium. Beautiful views off the deck my whole family came over just about every night and watched the sunset. Inside everything is neat and clean and just about every amenity that you could want. Room to park two cars so that’s not a problem a quick walk over to the beach a nice walk over to the lighthouse in the pier overall, it was a wonderful experience."
