I dont know what this property looks like because 3 days before my stay i got a message that it wouldn't be available. I was left with no choice but to accept another property further away in a worst neighborhood and much smaller and all i got discounted was 40 euros for a place that had 3 less bathrooms and one less bedroom than we had booked. We were a group of 9 so finding new accommodations within days from a trip we had booked across the Atlantic since March,almost 4 months in advance, was going to be much more expensive. The host took advantage of that. I believe the excuse of gas leak was a lie. Why would they need to shut the gas to the entire building for 72hrs. conveniently this the exact time of when we would show up to Rome. I tried to bargain for a better discount and their reply was to just refund me the money knowing I would definitely have to overpay for a stay anywhere else that close to our trip. I've read of this bait and switch scheme from hosts I didn't think it would happen to me. The other property was not even listed on the same site and our stay was never updated to reflect that we stayed at a different spot. Would not trust this host again. Not worth all the money we paid for the stay. We were definitely not 5 min walk to st. Peter Square
