Pros: apartment was large with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, neighborhood was safe with lots of restaurants & shops easy walking distance, elevator, office is down the street & very responsive, good washing machine & espresso machine
Cons: we found the bed in the master bedroom very uncomfortable & the bed squeaked whenever either of us moved, you hear street noise & noise from other apartments even with windows & shutters closed (be aware that there are a couple of motorized windows on ceilings that can be accidentally opened which increases noises), building & apartment is older & needs painting, couch is very uncomfortable for sleeping, twin beds are small but least uncomfortable
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The property was very clean and well mantained. The building is old, as you'd expect from a city like Rome. The apartment was larger than we expected, which was great. The communication with the management was good. It was very well located for all main attractions in the city. A lot of dining options in less than a 10 minute walk.
Property was lovely, including the antique furnishings. The neighborhood was especially nice, we walked to a lot of the major attractions. They were a lot of restaurants very close to the apartment. I needed Wi-Fi to do a little work and the Wi-Fi was great, I had no issues.

Please consider renaming this ‘Vila Giulia average apartment’! Poor shower experience from hot to cold in an instant. Smart TV was not an accurate description, there was a box connected which was dead. Credit to agent for trying to fix or replace but to no avail. 3 coffee machines…no toaster! Unsure if floors had been cleaned judging by towels we lay on the floor in the bathroom and wearing white trainer socks! Good location.

Not Good Enough
Property was fine though much darker than expected. I should not have to call to have a bathroom cleaned properly, nor should I have to contact management twice to get oven mitts or the like for the pasta. I also did not appreciate that table cloth is apparently a nono for hygienic reasons, though bed linens are apparently not an issue.
We stayed at this special apartment, 3 adults. Every problem was solved. The area is great for staying and traveling. Good company

Good apartment with multiple problems
The apartment itself is quite nice. The salone is beautifully decorated and spacious. The entire apartment is large and on a very nice street. However, there were a plethora of problems, not all of which were resolved. When we arrived we looked for a washer, which had been shown in the pictures of the apartment. The very narrow washer had been removed. The owner did offer to install one in the kitchen, but by then we did not want the disturbance. There was a short in an electric socket in the bedroom, and if you moved a plug the circuit breaker would trip. Pointed this out but the owner just plugged something in without tripping the circuit breaker, and left it. This is something I would have addressed immediately. The recycling rules in Italy are rather stringent, and we were given no information as to what to do with the trash. We did inquire, but the information was fragmentary. A shower nozzle was not working properly, which they fixed. the stopper in a bathroom sink did not pop up (which they tried to fix), and the large floor lamp in the livinng room did not work. It would flicker on then go dark. We did call the management office about this, and they promised the owner would come to recitify it, but he never came after the first visit. The Internet wifi was not good. The apartment did have a repeater, but it did not help. We did speed test and the speed was slow. One oddity: there is only one window in the large bedroom, which is quite small and just below the very high ceiling. In summary, if the problems in this appartment were addressed, it would be a very good place to stay, but the owner and management company needs to take a close look at the various aspects of the apartment and repair as necessary, and provide clear instructions (written) about trash disposal.
