The Vatican Roof Garden apartment in Rome was the PERFECT place for our group. There were six of us (3 couples) and we stayed for 8 days. The location was great which allowed us to walk to most everything we wanted to do in Rome. Francesca the host was so easy to work with and communicated easily. We even worked with Francesca to have a professional chef prepare a wonderful dinner in the apartment for us one evening of our stay, which was fabulous. Very memorable trip - highly recommend the Vatican Roof Garden for your visit to Rome.

Great Stay in Rome

Really enjoyed our stay at Francesca's place. Best VRBO experience yet. Close to the Vatican and lots of restaurants. If you are visiting Rome I highly recommend this apartment.

Amazing location and accommodations

Locating the building then finding the apartment was challenging, but after that, it was perfect! The common area leaves very little seating, but once we decided to just gather around the dining table, that issue was solved. There is an amazing open market right across the street where you can find anything from food to clothing. Great restaurants we could walk to in minutes. We will return again on our next Rome adventure.

Vatican Roof Apartment Rocks!

Excellent location just outside tourist area near Vatican! Huge market across the street, many restaurants and bars near by! Huge apartment, clean, really excellent! Hosts were awesome, private chef rocked our dinner one night! Highly recommend if you’re going to see the sites of Rome, walked to Vatican and colosseum areas!

Great location, exquisite apartment, roof top views

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Apartment is located just outside the Vatican City. You are close to metro, hop on hop off bus and you can walk everywhere. We enjoyed the neighbourhood restaurants. Had we stayed longer we would have taken advantage of the rooftop to bbq, to eat and to sunbathe. The bedrooms were comfortable and the showers and baths were lovely. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great location and apartment

We really enjoyed the apartment and neighborhood. Located near the Vatican and many great restaurants right below the apartment for breakfast. We found some great osterias that we went two nights in a row. The apartment was perfect for our family. Very clean and convenient. We were able to have breakfast and snacks in the apartment. We would definitely come back

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our group of 2 couples and easily would’ve accommodated 3 couples. There is a bakery just downstairs, and several restaurants as well. There is an amazing market across the street with fresh meats, fruits, cheeses, etc. The walk to the Vatican is a quick three-ish blocks. We took taxis to other parts of the city. The rooftop is spacious and has a grill/kitchen if you wanted to cook at home. Rent this property!

Highly recommend!

Our family of six (ages 18, 16, 14 & 12) stayed here during Thanksgiving 2023. Everyone loved the apartment! I picked this property because of the number of rooms and the 3 *beautiful* en-suite bathrooms. When we arrived, it was even better than the pictures. The light coming into the apartment is beautiful, as it is south-facing. The kitchen is stocked. The neighborhood is mostly locals/few tourists, convenient to bus & metro, pleasant, walkable, safe. There are several terrific restaurants and cafés just steps from the apartment, and a supermarket about a block away. The apartment is on the first floor (one floor above ground.) There is an elevator, old style and tiny, but does the job! Francesca was very responsive and great to work with. I would recommend this property to all of my friends and family.

All of us loved staying at Francesca’s VRBO. You can walk to the Vatican and enjoy cappuccino at La Florentino a restaurant downstairs on the corner. You will not regret booking this lovely property!
