Apartment had plenty of space, well appointed in kitchen and throughout, clothes washer, dishwasher, A/C, TWO bathrooms - it was delightful ! Location is 12 minute walk to Vatican City, 3 block walk to nearby Metro stop that connected us with all major sights. There are three grocery stores in neighborhood, some restaurants, small shops. Mafalda is a gracious host and we had a great time!

Our stay exceeded our expectations! Mafalda was wonderful to us. Great communication! We were very comfortable and loved the neighborhood. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning. So many restaurants and shops within walking distance. It’s only a 10 min walk to the Vatican Museum. We found a wonderful restaurant called La Locanda di Pietro. Ate there twice!When we look back on this trip we will fondly remember Mafalda and her lovely home.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The kitchen was equipped with everything, including coffee, bottled water in the fridge, butter and jellies and coffee cake treats for breakfast. That was a special touch!!! We were so comfortable with the large size 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We felt at home. We were given maps and directions to all the famous sights and found the location to be perfect for us getting around

We had a great stay. The condo is close to everything. Mafalda explained the metro system, where we could get groceries and if needed pharmacy. Everything was within walking distance or a short ride on the metro.

Just like home

My family and I loved staying here. The neighborhood is very close to the Vatican and a short walk to the Metro. It was very nice to spend the day touring and come back to a charming apartment which gave us a sense of living there and not staying at a touristy hotel.

Beautiful Mafalda

We went to Rome for a week and stayed at Mafalda‘s apartment, which was a great experience because she’s a great host and also it is very well located to move yourself around Rome. We would highly recommend a stay here as one of the best there is in this great ancient city.

Great place close to the Vatican

This is a great apartment close to the Vatican. There are lots of places to eat nearby and there are grocery stores close by as well. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a group or 2 or 4. There is plenty of space and having two bathrooms was great.

Home away from home

The owner goes all out to make it comfortable and homelike. Snacks, drinks, maps, recommendations. It is perfectly located within walking distance of the Vatican and two blocks away from the Metro and great restaurants. Perfect stay for four friends!

Excellent Accomodation near Vatican/Metro/Taxi Stand

This property was a clean spacious two bedroom two bathroom property with full kitchen, patio and laundry. It was an excellent base for our time in Rome. The metro train is two blocks away and a ride to Rome Termini is about 7 minutes. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Apartment, Well Situated

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this comfortable well equipped apartment located within walking distance to the Vatican. Mafalda, our host, was wonderful being in attendance to warmly welcome us and providing detailed and helpful information. She was always reachable and responded promptly to any of our questions. This property was clean, convenient, and roomy. Located just a couple of blocks from a Metro Station, walkable distance to Vatican Museum, taxi stand, and local restaurants. With a market right around the corner, you can easily prepare meals at your home away from home. The host is welcoming and helpful. The property is roomy, well appointed and was perfect for us - we were traveling with another couple and the layout was perfect providing appropriate privacy while providing a great atmosphere for our vacation.

Rome oasis

Wonderful location in Rome

We enjoyed our stay in Mafalda’s lovely home. The location was excellent, very close to metro and outside the busiest areas. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family (three adults), and Mafalda is a kind and considerate host and the communication was quick and clear. Our only difficulty was with street noise from recycling trucks, etc., overnight; if you are a light sleeper I would suggest earplugs .quick and clear.

Perfect stay

Fantastic apartment in perfection location. Easily accommodated our family of 5. Beds were great and two full bathrooms worked well for our group. Kitchen was used frequently and patio quaint for morning or afternoon espresso. Location steps from Metro, grocery store and buses. I can’t say enough great things about Mafalda and her place.
