Domus Solis Vaticano "is a beautiful deluxe apartment located on the 7th floor of an elegant building of the nineteenth century, in the impressive Piazza del Risorgimento, the heart of Prati district in Rome. This bright and spacious apartment enjoys an excellent location: it is just a few steps from St. Peter's, whose dome is visible from every room, giving our guests a breathtaking view of the Eternal City; The main attractions of the city such as Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Tiber and Piazza del Popolo are within easy walking distance; the famous Via Ottaviano and Via Cola di Rienzo, hubs of Roman shopping, are just a few meters away; underground and buses are just there and you can easily visit the rest of the City. The "Domus Solis Vaticano" is filled with all sorts of services: restaurants, bars, wine bars, wine bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, post offices, etc. . The Children's Hospital Baby Jesus and the Holy Spirit Hospital are within walking distance. The apartment has been recently renovated with high quality fittings and furnished with taste, and it is composed of 3 beautiful wide suites, each with a private bathroom and a comfortable living room with a double sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen. Each suite has high ceilings, sound proof windows and it is equipped with air conditioning, heating, TV, wireless internet, hair dryer and a modern private bathroom with large shower. The first and second room consists of a double bed, a comfortable double sofa bed and a private bathroom with shower. The third room enchants with its lovely canopy bed which gives the room a very romantic ambience. As the other 2 rooms, it also has a comfortable double sofa bed and a private large bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge.

Our family has an amazing time. The location of the property was perfect. Right out the front door there were many little restaurants to get morning coffee and breakfast. Was Exceptionally clean. There were 11 of us and we all had plenty of space. This home is what you would call penthouse in the states. It was on the 7th floor, but there was an elevator, so that helped. We would definitely recommend this place. Loved it.

Great location, Great view, Great Communication.

In a great location, close to the Vatican. Beautiful view from the windows. The check-in process was easy - and everyone was very communicative with detailed instructions in advance. The apartment was clean and Air conditioned (we were there in a heat wave!) and we would definitely return. With 7 people in the apartment it was a much better value than a hotel would have been.

Ideal location in Rome for our business and entertainment needs

We were very happy with the property and all that it offered. We were 3 unrelated adults, so having the separate bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms was ideal. The common area was appreciated so that we could meet together without having to be in one of our rooms. The kitchenette was very convenient and helped us to save money since we could brew our own coffee and bring leftovers home from restaurants. We did not cook a meal, but there were pans and utensils if we had wanted to cook. If you are American and are not familiar with how to brew coffee in a Primula Classic Stovetop Espresso and Coffee Maker, you will want to watch a video online before you go! A few things to be aware of: the apartment is on the 7th floor, which is actually the 8th level since the bottom floor is numbered 0 (zero) in Rome. The high ceilings make for more stairs to climb, so after taking the stairs up a couple of times, one of my traveling companions and I (both in our mid 60s) opted to use the elevator most of the time. The elevator is very small and holds two people only, or one person and luggage. So if you have more than 2 people needing to use the elevator, plan extra time for the elevator to ascend and descend for multiple trips. (Maximum weight is 200 kgs, which is 440 pounds.) Something quirky that I have never encountered in previous visits to Rome is the noise that the commode makes. Took some getting used to! But the convenience to taxis, restaurants, the Vatican, and more was unequaled.
