This property looked so amazing in the photos and there were so few reviews (only a couple!) on the site I was renting through, that I almost pulled out at the last minute, Remember that old saying “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”? Not in this case. It was all it claimed to be and more. The Location! Right between the Spanish Steps and the Fountain. Near enough to walk to the Pavillion. An awesome apartment on an awesome street in an awesome city! The property manager met us at the door to the apartment - the building as obviously older than anything we have in the states but had been completely renovated and updated. The heating system worked well, warming up the high ceilinged rooms quickly. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom was large and the gigantic jacuzzi tub was sunken into an elevated platform above it. The shower in the 2nd bathroom tended to hit you in the face when you went to turn it on and then it would spray all over the floor so make sure you are undressed and have a towel on the floor. Both bathrooms had bidets. The kitchen was well appointed with all the dishes and utensils you could need. We could not figure out how to use the microwave - we even looked up the manual online and called the property manager but to no avail.
My favorite part of the place was the living room because of the large TV, generous dining table and seating, comfy couch and the row of windows looking out on the busy street just one story below.
