"The location is the best. Easy walking to all. Trevi a couple of blocks. Pantheon around the corner. Great staff very helpful, will guide you and ordered taxi for us each day. "My wife.and I were seeking a hotel close to the train station and I read a number of unsettling Expedia reviews about other hotels in the area.To our delight, none of the complaints I read about for hotels in the area were valid for the Columbia Hotel. The front desk staff especially was friendly, helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, off the street and quiet. Breakfast was very nice, served at the top floor on a pleasant terrace. We recommend it highly based on our experience"

"Excellent location. Very nice part of the city. Clean room with a comfortable bed. We never met the staff in person but they were very helpful. Super neighborhood with great shopping and restaurants. Easy walk to historic venues. If you are ok with self check in and don't have a car, I would highly recommend. We would stay here again. An excellent value."
