The best area to stay in Romallo is directly within the village centre, particularly around the main square and via Roma.

This central area offers convenient access to local amenities and a real sense of village life. You'll find a few small shops, traditional eateries, and the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta, which is a key landmark. The village centre is compact and easy to navigate on foot, with most accommodations offering views of the surrounding Val di Non orchards and mountains.

For couples seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to nature and local culture, staying in the heart of Romallo is ideal. You can enjoy strolls through the apple orchards, discover local wine producers, or simply relax in the tranquil setting. The village provides a great base for exploring the Brenta Dolomites or Lake Tovel, both a short drive away.

Families will also find the village centre appealing due to its quiet environment and proximity to open spaces. Children can enjoy the freedom of the village squares and nearby walking paths, while parents appreciate the local shops for daily essentials.

The best time to visit Romallo is during the late spring and early autumn months, specifically from May to June and September to October.

These periods offer pleasant weather conditions, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking and exploring the Val di Non. The apple orchards, a prominent feature of the region, are either in bloom in late spring, creating a beautiful landscape, or ready for harvest in early autumn, which can be an interesting experience. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed visit.

For those looking to enjoy the full warmth of the Italian summer, July and August are also suitable. While these months are busier, the weather is consistently sunny and warm, great for enjoying the local lakes and mountain activities. However, you should anticipate higher prices and more people at popular attractions.

Winter, from November to April, brings colder temperatures and snow, making it a good time for winter sports enthusiasts if you're willing to travel a short distance to nearby ski resorts.
