Overall we loved our stay here! We love hiking and be outside so this cabin was perfect for us. We enjoyed hiking around the property, swinging in the hammocks, and the minimalist aspect. Additionally, the cabin was very clean and comfortable. It’s highly likely we will stay here again!
We loved our stay here! It was cozy and clean inside, with a nice little kitchen and plenty of things to do some small cooking ourselves. The location also can't be beat, on its own little road right next to a creek in a beautiful valley. We loved it!
Me and my husband stayed here for our one-year wedding anniversary and it was nuzzled in the best spot with a creek! Inside was so clean and we mostly sat on the swinging chairs outside 24/7. Love the location will definitely be back.
The grounds to this cabin is fantastic. If you like to hike, this place is loaded with trails on site. My son and I woke up early and hiked up a mountain (elephant arch) and had gorgeous views. If you’re into an affordable place this is the one. If you’re looking for primitive with electricity and an outhouse this is for you.
Cabin was gorgeous, well kept and clean.
Area around the cabin was lovely and plenty to do in the area so would suit a quiet stay to relax or someone who wants to hike or take in local activities, that I would highly recommend also.
Communication and ease of check in was A1.
My only small negative at all is that showers were a distance away but that’s a very negative of an otherwise excellent stay from top to bottom, would go back myself for sure.
i stayed in this cabin by myself for the night and felt pretty secure, i really enjoyed the options for outdoor cooking and the trails were really cool for as far as i went out.
Delightful place to "camp". It's easy to "rough it" when you know a nice climate control bed is 50 feet from your campfire. Beautiful bluff to admire a comfy hamock to relax in as you try to decide between a 10 minute drive to get a multitude of food choices or to chill and cook something over the fire. That whole strip around the Natual Bridge is about as chill or exhilarating as you want to make it. This cabin is an excellent base to chill if your good without running water. If you need running water in the distance you can other cabins that I am excited to try someday.
The cabin was in the perfect location to enjoy what the surrounding area has to offer. We felt like we were camping all alone in the woods. The cabin itself was very clean, it had everything that we needed for a short stay. The AC worked well and The bed was very comfortable. There is an outhouse that you have to walk to, which some people like and or dislike. Besides that, this is a great little weekend getaway. Lots of trails to hike from the cabin itself. We made a fire outside and enjoyed ourselves every night. The property manager was very accommodating and communicated very quickly via email and text messaging. This was definitely a plus and unexpected. I would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a one or two night stay.
Trying to find the cheapest but cleanest/nicest cabin is hard. Fortunately, if you have found my comment you do not need to search further! I absolutely loved the cabin and surrounding area of the cabin. The check in process was very easy, along with the checkout process. The cabin stayed very cozy with multiple different ways of heating and cooling. I enjoyed the filtered water that was provided. My only complaint was that the floors were not completely cleaned, our blankets had left overs of someone else’s hair, the ceiling fan and bed frame had dust webs, and the provided outhouse next to the cabin had a wasp nest right beside it. I do expect a cabin in the wilderness to be a little dirty, but knowing that cleaners come by to clean, I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness. Everything else was absolutely amazing! We will for sure be coming back to this exact cabin for our next get away trip.
Overall loved our stay!
We enjoyed being tucked away while still being so close to the main spots. I didn’t realize from the listing how secluded it would feel. The cabin is nicely decorated and clean. The bed was also very comfortable. We also loved using the fire pit and it was convenient being able to Venmo for wood at the cabin rather than needing to pick it up.
The only issue we had was that the water drum was pretty empty when we got there so after filling two water bottles one time it needed to be replaced. I emailed and called/ left a voicemail about it but I didn’t get a response until messaging through vrbo so if you have any needs while staying here I recommend going that route to reach the owner. They did come out pretty quickly after seeing my message.
The lightning bugs were also beautiful and there were lots of them since you are right next to a creek. The inside wasn’t buggy at all and the AC was strong.
Thank you!
Cleanest privy I've ever used! The cabin is very aesthetically pleasing, complete with ceiling fan, an ample refrigerator, a delightful hot/cold water dispenser, and a 2-burner portable stove. Suggested to proprietor to replace Black & Decker heating unit with a microwave & toaster for easier use. The floor was greasy/sticky -- perhaps a cleaning solvent gone awry? It left an odd residue on my feet, socks, and soles of shoes. Noticed the "stickiness" on my feet when I got into bed and it rubbed off on the sheets. Washed my feet to remove the sensation, then checked soles of shoes that were smeared with a shiny substance. Although being barefoot was preferred, I wore shoes at all times to avoid the odd anomaly. Hopefully this will be remedied for future guests! Other than this and some off-season paving activity plus trail debris that prevented me from hiking to Angel Falls (the 3-guy "maintenance crew" arrived later), it was a luxurious "glamping" experience on a beautiful cul-de-sac. A highlight was discovering Hop's restaurant 1/2 mile down the road -- great food and beverage!
Great stay. Loved how tucked away from the main road and close to trails.

Cabin was clean and"Cozy"!!!
We enjoyed our stay. We brought our own supply of fresh water and there is not a connected bathroom but there is a clean outhouse a few steps away from the cabin. There are trails around the property but we didnt get a chance to explore. We would definitely go back!
