The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the hot tub and fire pit. Conveniently located to RRG, restaurants, and general store. Loved our family stay !

We absolutely enjoyed everything about the Big Boulder. Very clean with very comfortable beds.
We had a great stay at this cabin. Communication with the host was great as well. The wrap around porch has lots of seating and we also enjoyed the fire pit.
We came as a small group and this cabin was perfect! There was so much room for everyone and the communal spaces were exactly what we were looking for. Everything was fairly clean, but there was dust on some things like the blinds that kicked up our speciesbut overall a wonderful stay!
Location for access to hikes and beauty of Red River Gorge is great. You don't want to forget much, as stores that stock more than the basics aren't close. Luckily, we were good there. 6 adults stayed in the cabin. Larger couch is quite worn, but we weren't hanging around inside long enough for that to be a concern. The porch and fire pit were great gathering spots.
This was our second time staying at Big Boulder. We love the location of the property, and it's the perfect size cabin for our family and one other couple. Although the cabin was mostly very clean when we arrived, there seemed to be a few areas that were overlooked. There were 2 towels hanging on the back of a door that were probably used, and the upstairs loft had MANY dead bees on the windowsills and along the wall near the windows.
Great place to stay. We were very comfortable. I hate to complain about toilet paper, but there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bath with three woman living here for a week. The garbage cans were full outside, so we couldn’t remove the house garbage unless we drove down the hill with the garbage in our car. The hot tub was great, but there was no way to refill the chlorine/bromine when it ran out. I would definitely stay at this place again and bring extra toilet paper.
Our group of six adults enjoyed our stay here immensely. The space was wonderful and very clean. The host sent several emails leading up to our stay ensuring we had information. My only downside is that parking was VERY limited. The host did mention this in an email early on, but I wish they had reiterated that closer to the trip, as I had a hard time locating the information of where they recommended overflow cars be parked, which caused a bit of stress the evening we arrived. Otherwise, 10/10
The cabin itself seems new and is very attractive. It has all the amenities and blazing fast internet which was appreciated with several young adults who like to game. The hosts were thoughtful about leaving dishwashing soap and coffee filters and small items like this to make move in easy.
There are pretty hiking trails basically at the steps of the cabin. These lead to small pretty waterfalls. We really enjoyed the outdoor hikes. We came back and used the hot tub also and had a fire out off the back deck one night.
We would definitely stay here again if/when the stars line up.
Thank you.
We had a fantastic stay at Big Boulder! We are a family of 4 who came to Rogers for climbing at the Gorge. The property is very centrally located, with short drives to great restaurants: Miguel's Pizza, Hop's, La Cabana, walking distance to Red River Rockhouse. Climbing sites were also close by with Muir Valley about 12 mins, Graining Fork (Roadside area) pretty much next door. There are also climbing areas on the community property, though due to fallen trees, we were unable to access the Family Fun climbing area. The heat worked well, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped for making meals. There was a single covered parking space; I'm not sure where others would have parked if we had more than one car. The Kroger grocery is 25 mins away, so we brought our own food. Our favorite parts of the rental property were the hot tub and the firepit; absolutely wonderful after a hard day of climbing! The property wasn't the cleanest we've seen at check-in, but no biggie.
We had a great time at this cabin! There was everything we needed here and it was spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. We ended up staying an extra night because the kids were having so much fun on the property and at parks and attractions nearby. My favorite thing to do was to hang out in the hammocks. We had a fire just one night because of rain. Check in was easy. We experienced a couple of wasps on the deck and called for something to help get rid of them. Maintenance helped us out shortly after calling. The only little issues were the hottub starting having an odor Saturday evening and we asked for someone to check it out but no one came. We weren't able to use it on Sunday because of that. The only other thing is the couch downstairs; when you sit down you practically end up sitting on the floor. The kids didn't mind but us older people had a little difficulty with it. It would not keep me from returning, however! Thank you for sharing your cabin.
Had a great time staying at the property and exploring the trails on the property. One thing y’all should know about is that there are some nasty wasps/hornets (didn’t get close enough to identify) building a nest in the eave of the house as you walk up the steps from the garage area. Picture included below.
