Top Rocking Stone Tower Hotel Reviews

Truckee Donner Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"A quick stay but clean room and bed, pretty quiet. Comfy. I arrived late very late and they were still helpful and friendly. Would recommend."

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Truckee Lake Tahoe

8/10 Good

"Why is the fan in the bathroom on 24/7?? It's noisy and really annoying. I had a handicapped room, which was fine, but I couldn't watch tv from the bed. Why did you put the tv near the sofa not by the bed??"

The Inn at Truckee

8/10 Good

"The hotel is older and you can tell in some spots. There was stains on the bed frame and the shower had some damage around the walls. The property was quiet even though there was construction nearby. Breakfast was slim pickins. Overall was a good place for us staying just a night. They were welcoming of dogs too :)"

Martis Valley Lodge, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

10/10 Excellent

"A really great option for a stay. It was super clean and updated and was well appointed. Will be staying there again!"

Luxury Tahoe Estate | Hot Tub | Golf Access | Games | Fire Pit | Near Lake

"Great place to gather our family. Gorgeous setting. Wonderful home in every way."

Village Camp Truckee

10/10 Excellent

"The rental was exactly as pictured, it was perfect for weekend plans. We were pleasantly surprised that it was fully stocked with anything you could need and in new condition which sometimes is not the case. We loved the front deck and totally enjoyed the fire pit. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again."

Gorgeous Historic Victorian - Walk to Downtown Truckee! Central to ski resorts!

10/10 Excellent

"This is our second time staying at the Richardson House and we hope to be back again next year. Just an awesome house, with a beautiful patio and porch overlooking downtown Truckee, which is a short walk away. Thanks for having us!"

Coyote Moon by AvantStay | Cabin W/Sauna | Mins from DT Truckee & NorthStar

8/10 Good

"My family enjoyed our summer stay at this property. The kitchen is really well appointed for someone who likes to cook, the movie room was a huge hit with the kiddo, and everything was comfortable. Wifi is spotty, but we learned it is like that across Tahoe Donner. Not listed is the fact that they do have a lot of tower fans which came in handy when it was warm out. Location is great too -- close to Tahoe Donner community, quick access to downtown Truckee and Donner Lake."

Tahoe Star Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Nice, quaint place to stay. Rooms are nicely updated. The location is the best in downtown Truckee - walk to everything. No televisions, which we found to be relaxing. So much else to do in town. The owner Dave is installing a wine bar in the lobby, which will be great for wind-down!"
