The property was immaculate and staff where warm welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The water in the pool was so pure it was like a bath before bed. Unforgettable

The hotel was modern and very comfortable. Unfortunately (probably due to the fact that there were very few guests staying when we were there) the restaurant was not operating for dinner and we had to drive into Rocamadour to eat in the evenings.

4 Star Hotel???? NO!

Very disappointed with this hotel! Supposed to be 4 star rated but the restaurant was not open! The hotel is 4 kms out of town in the middle of the country, no taxi service available so unless you drive, or in our case, get dressed up in motorcycle clothes and drive to town for an evening meal we had to go hungry!! bar snack of cheese or cold meat available, but not a meal. Very weak gin and tonic at €12 is also a bit steep. Would not recommend this hotel.

The Bois d'Imbert is indeed a 4-star hotel, with its facilities, services, bar, room service, restaurant, free parking, secure covered area for motorcycles, bike rental, pétanque, reception open 24 hours a day, ... The restaurant was not open during your stay, we are sorry. However, we do offer a snack menu at the bar or in room service, and the team also suggests reserving a table in the restaurant of your choice upon arrival. The hotel is particularly appreciated for the calm, relaxation and rest it provides after visits to Rocamadour and the popular tourist sites. As part of our improvement policy and although the majority of our customers, including bikers, are satisfied with Bois d´Imbert, we note your remark. Kindest regards, The Bois d'Imbert team

Disapointing

Arrived only to be told the restaurant and pool were closed and there was no way we could get a taxi/bus/bike to a nearby restaurant which was 5km away. It’s a shame as the pool and restaurant on site were my main reasons for choosing the hotel. We had a deluxe room so I was surprised the sound proofing was so bad, could hear next door using the toilet and people walking outside. The en-suite is dated with a 50 year old bath that doesn’t drain and so dated decor.

We therefore wish to provide some answers to the various points you raise. The hotel Le Bois d'Imbert was completely renovated at the beginning of the year. Our technicians continue to work to perform finishes for the comfort of our customers. We can therefore guarantee that our teams are currently working on reinforcing the sound proofing of the rooms. Indeed, the swimming pool is currently not available due to a technical problem. We are sorry not to have been able to offer you this service during your stay. Likewise, we were forced to temporarily close our restaurant due to the absence of our Chef. We are actively pursuing the finishing touches on the hotel. This notably includes the addition of progressive decoration in the bedrooms, bathrooms, restaurant, bar and lounge. We hope to welcome you again on your next trip to the great city of Rocamadour.
