"The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel.
We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location.
Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive.
The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard.
We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. "

"Very, very steep stairs to the apartment. Spacious with 2 separate rooms. Microwave, toaster and air fryer but no oven or hob. Not enough cutlery/crockery. No tea towel! I'd say not very well equipped. "

"A top quality town centre hotel with a host of original Georgian features, superbly managed by Gemma and her team who provide an excellent level of customer service. "
"Friendly helpful staff. We arrived several hours early and were shown to our room as it was ready. On check out, we asked if we could leave our car in the car park while we did a bit more exploring of Stamford, no problem! Lovely breakfast."
"Room was spotless, bed really comfortable and this hotels biggest strong point was the reception staff - especially Zaf who was welcoming, warm and so helpful with everything needed - directed me to local restaurants, booked me a taxi to work and really does understand what good customer service means. Incredible value for money "
