I came to Riyadh to attend an appointment at an Embassy in the Diplomatic Quarter. I found the location of this hotel extremely convenient for this purpose. I was pleasently surprised because apart from its convenience the hotel offers a great value for money.

I arrived at the hotel and was told to wait, and that the hotel was full. They then drove me to another hotel, the Hotel Myan, which was of a lesser quality, but I had to accept as I was on a conference and all other hotels were sold out. Bad and unreliable / unacceptable service from Ross Hotel & from Expedia!!

A lot wrong with my stay, but the key issues: My shower door leaked and flooded my bathrooom floor. Despite asking twice and both times a technician coming it was still not fixed! Second - i put a wool jumper to be washed, explained it was wool and hand wash. Came back shrunk. It's was £200 worth ruined. Beyond this, the beds are uncomfortable, pillows like rocks and the quality of finishing is like a 2 star hotel. Plus no one speaks English bar the reception. Terrible experience. twice and

الفندق سكنت فيه مرتين الاولى كان ممتاز المره الثانيه بعد شهر ونص انصدمت بالتغير الكبير اولا رائحة الدخان بكل مكان سواءا بالدور الاول وين كنا نسكن او باللوبي ايضاً الشطاف خربان ويسرب مويه وصوته مزعج طول الليل يطلع صوت ايضا امتلا الحمام تكرمون بمويه بسببه ثالثا السخانة لا تعمل المويه جداً بارده وقت الاستحمام الغرف عزلها سيء ضجيج السيارات تسمعه وانت بالغرفه
