"My family and i had such an awesome stay at The Overlook Cabin in Lake Lure. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and cozy. Amazing views from the deck. Very clean! It offered a wide variety of entertainment in the game room. The kitchen was well equipped. Definitely recommend The Overlook and plan to visit again in the future. "

"The house was in great condition but didn't have many trash bags for use and I tried texting the owners multiple times about the wifi password because we couldn't find it anywhere but I never got any response. But other than communication everything was well "

"The property is a timeshare. I think you need to know that before u rent a very dated poor condition dirty holes in the doors, dirty walls very disappointed. rusty, refrigerator, mold, stoves, dirty, and broken. They actually did move us from one unit to the next because of the severely musty smell in the bedroom area, but that wasn’t even worse condition but by the time we were in there, the front office was closed and gone.We have stayed at some of these other properties before and they were excellent …actually after we saw the condition of the property we wanted to leave, but we were kind of stuck there because it was after hours. "

"This home was an amazing place to stay for my friends and I. We were entertained the whole weekend by the games at the house and the host was extremely reachable, he gave us recommendations for trails etc and answered any questions extremely quick. The home was extremely clean and clearly ready to cater to a larger group of guests we had 14 people and never felt cramped once. The location is great, so close to a nature trail and private beach, and was only 25 minutes from Chimney Rock which is rebuilding itself beautifully. I cannot recommend this home enough for large groups or families! "

"This home has prime real estate overlooking a golf course in the middle of the mountains!The property was very clean, comfortable and equipped for anything you may need.The owner went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay and even arranged for us to be able to use the pool/spa facilities nearby.This is a great place to which to retreat yet there is plenty to do and see in surrounding Asheville, Hendersonville…..a great place to get away and relax!"
