"*60th birthday getaway with 3 adults, 2 dogs. This place is amazing. Spacious, clean, well stocked, private, quiet, surrounded by beautiful trees and a view. This was the best dog friendly rental I have ever stayed at. Decking on multiple levels with secured gates, helped with dog management. And a fenced in area behind the house. This area is extremely steep, but it offered secured exercise time and if you get your dogs running up the hill they’ll be tired in no time we used it multiple times every day. There is a door to the back from the lower level basement, which helped separate our dogs from the rest of the house as needed. Lots of comfortable space inside and seating outside. Very serene and pretty. I worked remotely while I was there and the wireless was very reliable. Quick access from the main road. Very close to a huge awesome Ingles grocery store. Close to Chimney Rock and Minutes to Lake Lure. We will definitely be back. Lori"

"Jody was so welcoming! She is very informative about the area and offers suggestions. Love her animals that greet you as well. Communal outside areas were very nice. A nice quiet retreat at a great price! Very clean rooms!! I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"If you are looking for a relaxing cabin where you won't be bothered by neighbors, this is the perfect place. pictures of cabin are accurate; Hosts were quick to respond any time I had a question before checking in. Kitchen had all the basics needed to cook our meals. The game room area was a big hit with the young adults. The main swimming area and a dog friendly swimming hole are just a few minutes drive from the cabin. The fire pit is great for an evening of sitting around the fire & snacking on smores! The back deck is very peaceful surrounded by all the trees, the large outdoor table on the back deck was great for card games in the evening. Plenty to do in the area, I would recommend Escape Room Lake Lure on Memorial Highway. Hot tub was not available to use while we were there, but the hosts did inform us ahead of time. There was a red light sauna and peloton bike to use as well as a weighs for those who don't want to miss their work out while on vacation."
